You really think Raider Nation will be there loud and full house? 5:30 pm game on a Thursday to watch and 0-10 team? The stadium will be half red by halftime!

Game is sold out bud. And sure as hell ain't from Chiefs fans. The thing about raiders fans is that they are die hard and stick to their team no matter what. They're going for the tailgate party not the game. Lol trust me when I say the house will be rocking tonight!! There will be a few hall of famers at the game as well as ray guy gets his hof ring and honored at halftime.

I remember someone throwing in a stat about Oakland scoring a td five times in the last 2 mins of the game, warning us of a potential garbage time TD.
Well look what I've found on NFL.com
in the five games since its bye, Kansas City has outscored opponents 45-6 in the fourth quarter and all units have been at their best with the chips in the middle of the table.

Considering raiders +8 <5 dimes>, and heres why. People see 0-10 and they make assumptions. But when you look a little closer, 0-10 ats, but 5-5 ats, and this raiders team lost by 6 at sea, lost by 7 at NE, and lost by 7 at SD. Now we get them at home, and essentially the bet is will they stay as close here as they did in those 3 road games.

Desperate to get off the 0 fer schneid, I expect them to play hard. While KC will play down to the winless opponent scenario. True its a division game, rival etc., but lets face it, KC won't take the field with the energy they would playing Denver.

Its a Thur game, KC played 4 days ago at home vs Sea. = FATIGUE both mental and physical.

The only thing that makes me hesitate is KC's record vs the number, 9-1 ats, lone loss was wk 1. Add to that KC has a league best +82 line off total.

So KC wins, but I think Oak keeps it close.

    BOL 2 all.

I will wait for Live in play and by early 3rd quarter Bang the Total which I am assuming it will be low scoring.

Why wait for a coin toss as to whom is going to win when I CAN watch 60 % and know exactly where its going and collect my $$$

At first glance Oakland is near the bottom of the league in Rushing yards allowed, but in the top 10 of ypa, 3.8. They aren't as bad as many think. Played Seattle very tough on the road. 7 seems like a large number at home.

    Under 42.5 for me.

OAK is maybe the only fan base in the NFL that will get insane supporting their 0-10 team. They are nuts.

NFL games sell out all the time, doesn't mean everybody fills it up. I look forward to seeing the house rocking tonight at 5:30 on a Thursday.

In his first two seasons as head coach of the Chiefs, Reid has led Kansas City to an 18-8 (.692) record in his first 26games, on pace to be the top winning percentage in franchise history for a coach in his first two seasons with the team.

Now in his 17th season, Woodson currently leads Oakland with 74 tackles and two interceptions. He is tied with ProFootball Hall of Famer EMMITT THOMAS (58) for 11th on the all-time interception list.

    I'm taking Raiders +7
I'm taking Raiders to win the game
And if Raiders -7 existed I'd take that too

99% of NFL fans will have their mouths agape in shock when the Raiders unexpectedly thrash KC just like what the Rams did to the Broncos. The same stupid shit about the Raiders, I heard about the Jaguars last year especially after the 49ers killed them at home...worst team in the history of the NFL...0-16...blah blah blah and they finished the season 4-4, three of those victories against division opponents. The same thing will happen with the Raiders as it does 9 times out of 10 with these "historically bad" teams. There's a reason why we hold the 2008 Lions in such reverence.

What has KC done that's so impressive in those 5 victories? Wow they held the Jets and Rams to 10 or less, two of the top offenses in the game. And squeaked out three hard-fought victories against .500 teams (Seattle is that on the road).

Frankly I'm surprised the spread wasn't more than 7 points based on initial optics of the two teams. Shows that not even the casuals are that susceptible to getting suckered in given the various circumstances.

Are you serious ? "What has KC done that's so impressive in those 5 victories? Wow they held the Jets and Rams to 10 or less, two of the top offenses in the game. And squeaked out three hard-fought victories against .500 teams (Seattle is that on the road)."

Chiefs 41 Pats 14 ...Chiefs 35 @ Miami 14 ... Chiefs 34- Rams 7 ....Chiefs went into SD and beat them when they were on a 5 game win streak went into Buffalo and won when everyone and their mom was on the Bills, came home and beat the Seahawks when everyone and their mother was on them , the Chiefs haven't given up a rushing TD all year , number 2 defense in the league giving up 14 points a game over the last 6 games , they don't give it up ...dont know what you're really looking at EdV ..... The Rams beating Denver is not a surprise to people that know Football Rams have beaten them the last two times they've played now its three , they got a fast nasty pass rush and hard hitting DBs , exactly what they need to stop Denver .... Rams are 100 x the team the Raiders are so I wouldn't use that as a comparison if I was you ....Chiefs have played down to teams like the Raiders before but this is not that Chiefs team and Reid is not that coach , Chiefs need a win here to have a chance of taking over first next week at home vs Denver < Thats all you really need to understand ... Raiders can't stop them if so with what ? maybe their 28th ranked run defense lol Chiefs will control this game from beginning to end .

The under 43 seems like better play...KC winning looks good on paper, covering the spread not as good. Both D's should outplay the offense. The Raider D out of the gate, last week they really blasted Rivers and they could surprise us all- leaning under.

Like I said, exactly the same type of reasoning about the Raiders as I've heard a hundred times before on "x" shitty team heading into the latter half of the season.

As far as KC, the Pats and Miami games were good ones can't say anything bad about them but I was specifically referring to everyone's hard-on for their past 5 victories. Well fought, not dominating games. Who cares if everyone thought the Bills would win that game, now everyone thinks KC is going to win tonight's game. We'll see in a few hours what ends up happening either way and if I come back here to gloat in victory or hide myself in defeat in whatever dungeon I live in away from a computer for another several months.

PS "The Rams beating Denver is not a surprise to people that know Football...Rams have beaten them the last two times they've played now its three"

lol yeah the "last two times" the Rams and Broncos played, which goes back to 1942 when Peyton was still in high school. I hate it when people bring up stupid irrelevant inter-conference match-up streaks like this where the rosters and coaches have churned two or three times over. In 2010 the last time they played the Broncos were garbage not a Super Bowl candidate.

Only thing Oakland is good at is covering double digit lines.

If you are betting Oakland, you are betting on a team that has not won a game in over a year, has lost 16 straight games, that may go 0 and 16, whose only chance at a win is against Buffallo in December.

If you are betting Oakland you are betting on a team that has one of the worst run offense going up against a KC defense that has not given up a run TD all season.

I can go on forever.... Carr is a bottom ranked QB, the list is endless.

Bottom line is, you are betting on a 0 and 10 team.
Only reason I can come up with to back Oakland is you are betting on a team that is pretty good at covering a big line while losing.

    I'll pass.

Or is it a play against KC , they have won and covered 5 games in a row, very hard to do in NFL....Oakland is very competitive, look at last 5 opponents they played and also the sharps have been on them as well. KC is the better team but will they have the energy to give their A game...I would not bet KC here at all, if anything a small play on Oakland

This is what this forum has come to....no real insight to find an angle to bet the game- just a bunch of guys in a pissing contest.

I will be playing the Raiders for a small wager tonight as I feel this is a perfect time to sell high on KC.

This is a huge Sandwich spot, Huge win over Seattle- travel west to play Oakland when they have Denver on deck next week with a matchup with Arizona the following week.

Oakland could cover, could back door cover, I mean it is possible, but Charles, even on 4 days rest, can run for a buck and change.

This is a divisional game, Reid knows it, KC will wins this, they are clearly, I mean clearly the better team. Period.
KC is tied with the Peytons, and the SD Rivers are a game back with Matthews healthy again.

The only question is, does KC win by 8 (or whatever number you are offered or you make it)

I'm on KC money line parlay with three other faves myself
All money lines, I think, my opinion only, the way to bet this game tonight is KC on multi team ml parlay, and this coming from a guy who is not a big multi team parlay guy.

    Angle?
I got your angle right here.
Oakland run defense is so bad, Charles on 4 days rest can pop for 100, rain, no rain, does not matter

I played small on Oakland. I hate ML parlays ,especially in the NFL as many times dog wins outright. i would no way touch KC here.

Andy Reid is a good coach, he will not overlook a division opponent, winless or not. Chiefs will come out and do what everyone expects!! chiefs -7 and under 42.5 is what i like in this one.
