Auburn's season just ended for all intents and purposes with the loss to A&M. Their luck finally ran out.

Georgia was embarrassed two weeks ago against Florida but they are still in the driver's seat in the SEC East. They have not forgotten what happened last year when Auburn won on an improbable Hail Mary pass. That game burned worse than perhaps any loss for the Dawgs last year and I think UGA will play with a chip on its shoulder. Auburn has a great uptempo running attack and UGA was just shredded but the defense will play with an edge this week.

The return of Gurley will provide a spark. They've managed to run successfully without him but he is a special talent and his presence alone will provide a boost to this team.

Honestly I don't even see this game being all that close. Just a horrible spot for the Tigers. Georgia wins this game by double digits.

Three weeks ago, before the UF & aTm games, this line was about UGA -1 or a pick'em. O/U is 68.5 Not much has really changed.

Both of these teams looked like playoff contenders before they laid an egg. Disagree that Auburn won't be up for this. This is one of the most under rated rivalries in football. Gets overshadowed with AU/Bama and UF/UGA but these two schools hate each other. Many of Auburns players come from Georgia.

I dont really know how either team stops the other. Georgia is built to stop teams that pass. Their unit is a bunch of pass rushers. Signs point to Auburn here, esp at Qb and coach...but this will be Georgia's Superbowl. Revenge game, rivalry game, they still can win the East, getting Gurley back...I dunno. If Richt can't get his team up for this one he's pretty much useless.

not true, at all. Auburn has a decent chance of making the playoff if they win out. They'd have more top 25 wins than ANY other team in the country

also, im quickly learning youre one of the biggest dumbasses on this forum (no offense)

    A. Georgia is not in the driver's seat in the east...mizzou is
    B. As dane said, dont underestimate this rivalry. AU will be up for this game and the experienced roster/coaching staff will have the guys in the right mindset.
    C. Auburn's season isn't over just yet...beat uga & bama (albeit on the road), bama & ole miss beat state and auburn represents the west. Seen crazier things, and i def think au is the better team.

My money will be on the tigers.

Like Auburn. Don't think Georgia can stop their run game. Might get ugly quick.

Fla rushed for over 400 against this ga d with only 23 yds passing...kentucky for over 200 with just over 100 passing...and auburn for over 300 last meeting against this d. No way is ga stopping this o from doing whatever it wants. I think jj is right...easy money on the over at only 68.5 right now.

No question UGAs rush D has been getting shredded. And UGA doesn't have FSU's personnel from last year. However Pruitt had a more than a month to prepare for AU in nat'l champ game. He found something in the 2nd half of that game. I do think this helps UGA and expect their run D to play better.

It will be a back & forth game. But like UGA to get a few more stops on D & win turnover battle. Gotta go with home team here.

    no doubt.

They should leave the punter back home.

Florida who is pathetic on offense absolutely shredded Georgia's punk ass pussy defense.

Now they gotta face perhaps the most balanced offense in the SEC.

not to mention one that plays at a fast pace and does not give you time to change personel on defense.

Fans will likely be leaving at half time for this one.

It appears UGA is the play, but remember you need to tack on 3 pts for AU's luck, no joke, factor that into your decision.

I wanted to know because OP said Auburn's season is over after last week's loss. Can they win out the SEC? I suppose Miss St has to lose first.

if AU wins out and MSU looses to UA and Ole Miss it creates a 3 way tie. As I understand it, AU wins the tiebreaker in that scenario.

    This is SEC West scenario.

You have to account for adjustments and variance. Ga played ken better. On d. I'm thinking over 68.5. Need a weather report. Both these teams should hit 35 and wouldn't doubt if both teams hit 40+. I wish duke w. was playing. Ga qb Hutson looking good and he will have one on one all day. Fellas, I'm really starting to feel this over..
