Does anybody still believe sports are fixed?

    Steelers on Sunday night

    Colts on Monday Night

    Warriors on Wednesday night

    Rockets on Thursday night

    Blazers on Thursday night

all of these teams were major public plays and all cashed with ease.

I used to be very skeptical about fixes ... shady refs... who the public is on..... etc

I have come to realize sports have been cleaned up. This is so refreshing. That means that now we can simply handicap the matchup and pick the better team.

Never again will i look at consensus numbers on vegasinsider.com the only reason that is there is to mind fukk us and make it harder than it needs to be.

I used to think that most major calls / breaks go against the public but look at last week Public was all over Auburn... game was at Ole Miss and litterally the game was ultimately decided by a referee decision.... and Refs gave it to Auburn. That right there proves we dont need to be paranoid about being on the public side anymore.

Line movement and who the public is on .... does not mean shit. Ravens went from +2 to -2 and still got blown out by the Steelers.

Sports are clean again gentlemen. How refreshing is that?

Those numbers you keep harping about come from only one book, sportsbook.ag.

Those numbers also only give you the number of bets on each team, you have no idea how much money is on each side. While 70% of the bets are on one team, 70% of all the money might be on the other.

So while it is nice to look at who bettors in one book like, you cant conclude that the "public" is on so and so just because a bunch of $50 bettors at sportsbook ag made more bets on the Broncos than the Raiders.

Exactly. That's the reason the books always win. They have the one piece of information none of us will ever have: where all the money is going. Those sites that tell you who the "public" is on are bought and paid for by Vegas.

Just another quick note. Steelers were not a public play. All action and money (from info I looked at) was fairly even.

You seem to make up your numbers or make up your mind about what the public is on. The other week you said public won when Denver beat SD and covered. Fact is more money and more bets were on Chargers (again, only from the info I looked at).

that shit does not matter though.

do you honestly think if more money was say on the Spurs last night that , that would have impact on the game?

or do uhonestly think if more money was on NY Giants on Monday that was the reason they got blown out?

Idiotic people cry fix and failed bettors cry fix

Of course from time to time there might be a game that stays within a pointspread but it's just amongst a few people chump change

    Mainly a college sport

No need to fix Pro events too much money already being profit

You didn't really read what I said. I agree with you. All I was saying is you don't actually know where all the "public money" is, and you never will. They profit on house edge and variance. That's all the need.

I definitely think the NBA is fixed to an extent. Obviously not every game is going to be fixed. But if vegas can fix a few big games a week then they're definitely cleaning up.

If Henry, Tommy and Pauly couldn't profitably fix BC basketball then fixing is way overblown... Only happens in isolated incidences

I dont think sports are cleaned up at all. Vegas doesn't care about straight bets, they are out to make sure parlays don't hit with ease. Yeah rockets won last night but guess who didn't win, the bengals, and their qb looked like he forgot how to play football. Do I think all games are rigged, no absolutely not but I think some are swayed based on money and I think some games are given to the public to offset the rigged sports talk. I think it's a delicate balance which they master beautifully. This is just my opinion and honestly either side of this argument that were on doesn't matter because we can't prove either side 100 percent

i think in todays day and age these umpires and referees are scruitinized so closely and had to work so hard to get to the top level that they wouldnt dare risk their job over some shady business.

These officials get paid pretty good money once they make it to NFL, NBA, MLB etc...

You think this but honestly for NFL and NBA penalties and fouls can basically be called on every play the way theyve made the game. Also I would assume you could penalize early in a game to set the tone for a game. So if i team is physical throw alot of flags early to shut their defense down or something of that nature. I dont think its as hard to do as you think. Its not about completely rigging a game I think its about swaying it towards one side or another if need be.

Very few and far between. You can also bet that if a game is fixed, its not going to be a major televised one.

Have you seen this 30 for 30 about Henry Hill? Give it a watch when you have some time

Gives you an idea of how easy it would be to fix any collegiate game using the PLAYERS not the zebras
