Philadelphia Eagles QB Nick Foles (clavicle) underwent an MRI Monday, Nov. 3, and has been diagnosed with a cracked clavicle, according to head coach Chip Kelly.

Aaron Rodgers had a similar injury to his non-throwing arm (like Foles) and missed seven weeks. There's no timetable for Foles' return, but it is likely going to be some time before we see him under center for the Eagles.

Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (back) is expected to play in Week 10, according to owner Jerry Jones. 'I do see him playing,' Jones told NFL Network's Desmond Purnell. 'He's going on the trip to London, and logic tells you that we wouldn't have him make that trip to London and back if we didn't think he was going to play, so it does depend on the type of week he has at practice. But if he has the week we expect, he should be our quarterback.'

Alright, we'll be waiting to see what the rookie can do then. Sims has a skill set like a poor man's version of Matt Forte. He's a good all-purpose back with the ability to produce as a runner and receiver out of the backfield. Splitting time with Bobby Rainey, we'd like to see Sims in action before rushing to add him to our lineup as a 'what the heck' flex.

He had all the things we're looking for in a quarterback,' Kelly said. 'He's a hell of a quarterback and we're excited that we got him.'

Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said he will evaluate the entire offense during the team's bye in Week 10, including at the quarterback position. However, O'Brien didn't come close to benching QB Ryan Fitzpatrick in the team's Week 9 loss, and he didn't single him out when discussing possible changes for Week 11. “I think we have to evaluate everything,” said O’Brien, when asked if he’ll make a QB change. “I don’t think you can always -- and I’ve said this along -- I don’t think you can look at one position and put all the blame on that.'

Ryan Mallett was added with the idea that he could eventually get a starting nod. He's been a developmental prospect for years behind Tom Brady. Now, we could finally see him under center as a starter in the NFL. Mallett has a rocket arm, but he has little accuracy as a passer.

Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson was very passive when he asked if he was used as a decoy in the team's Week 9 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Johnson was disengaged when he was asked to respond to Eagles CB Cary Williams' comments that Johnson doesn't appear to be the same receiver of the past. “I’m trying to help the team win,” Johnson said. “But I only can do what I can do. I can’t control everything. I only can control what I can. That’s it. I can’t block. I can’t cover guys. I can’t throw the ball. All I can do is run routes and try to get open and catch the ball.”

Johnson was unhappy with the direction of the offense earlier this year, and those feeling may have never subsided. We've seen DeAndre Hopkins take over as the top receiver for the Texans over the last few weeks. We'll see if Johnson can return to his old self.

Welker is not the same player he used to be. He was concussed in the preseason game against the Houston Texans, then Welker missed time at the beginning of the year due to a suspension. Now, we could see the Broncos start to change things up offensively. Rookie Cody Latimer has been active more in recent weeks, and the team might start to see what the kid can do if Welker is down.

We would hate to see Lattimore retire before his career even starts. He's so natural gifted, but Lattimore is trying to come back from two devastating knee injuries he suffered in college at South Carolina. Other backs have missed their rookie seasons (Ricky Watters, Willis McGahee) and have been fine. It looks like Lattimore's story will always read 'what might have been.'
