Romo is a selfish prick and cost his team the game

Obviously romo thought this was his hero moment to lead the Cowboys to victory on national tv.

healthy weeden > immobil romo. Guy comes in and get them 10 pts in 2 possessions.

he put his interests ahead of the team and the d pinned their ears back.

    shame on romo.

    Jerry Jones is garbage.

    His team, garbage.

Fluke season. It's time to start watching the Cowboys fall from their horses.

I was thinking the same thing. Witten was making plays that Romo
did not.. he was passing with a nice touch that the receivers could catch.
Romo is a sloppy passer. He puts too much speed on the ball when it's
    not necessary.
All I kept thinking was I hoped Jason Garrett was coach enough to
keep what was working (Witten) in.
Sadly, we saw who really coaches the team.... Jones and Romo.
Still, there were other terrible games in the NFL this weekend.
The officiating is determining outcomes ala NBA.
I'm going to start avoiding the NFL. The quality of football is much better
    in the college game.

Yes, Weeden and Witten are close, but when talking about the Cowboys, it sorta matters that one knows the difference ... if not just for avoiding embarrassment

    Sharp post.

I'd bet Jones told Garrett Romo's coming back and Garrett didn't have the balls to say no.

You're right, but the ironic flipside is that when a player doesn't demand back in (see Jay Cutler 2011 playoffs) he's accused of being a pussy. So basically in that sport you're either selfish or a pussy. Catch-22.

If Weeden plays the rest of the game and the Cowboys lose this thread would read "Homo Romo was scared to get back in the game". It's easy bash Romo after the fact.

Exactly...The real issue the Cowboys lost and people need to blame somebody. It's easy to blame Romo who led the Cowboys to a 6-2 record. Like Rodgers said R.E.L.A.X.

I lost $2,400 on dallas last night, Did not get no sleep last night, Play calling was a joke, Over tiime comes and dallas runs the rock with murray and gains 7 yards, Why not run it on 2nd down to pick up the 1st down? I mean did wash come close to stopping the run? My fault , I knew dallas was due for one of there fumble mistake injury riddled games there famous for

Yeah that makes sense. Play the same 11 guys the entire game. That should make for some quality football in the 4th quarter.

    Wrong.

Why do you worry so much about the Cowboys?

I can say unequivocally that I never hear anyone down here give 2 fukks about that shitbag football team of yours.

Guess that's how it is though when you're Americas Team. Your presence is felt throughout the land.

Apparently the Dallas Cowboys aren't America's team anymore. According to a recent poll conducted by Public Policy Polling, the Cowboys are actually America's least favorite team.
In a poll of 741 registered voters, 23 percent of respondents said that the Cowboys were their least favorite team in the NFL. The only other team to be named by over 10 percent of respondents was the Chicago Bears, who are disliked by 13 percent of America. That number probably isn't going to do down now that Jay Cutler is locked in as the Bearsquarterback until 2020.

An 18-year Super Bowl drought, one playoff win in the past 16 years and countless Tony Romo heartbreaks haven’t broken the love spell between Americans and the Dallas Cowboys. Once again, the franchise topped a Harris Poll of the most popular football teams in the NFL. Dallas has been No. 1 in the poll since 2007, giving even more claim to the “America’s Team” title they already own.

First, anyone who thinks that Weeden would have given the Cowboys a chance to win, must have forgotten the Weeden actually sucks a QB.

Second, Romo's job is to go in and play QB, if Romo isn't the best choice at that time it is not his fault, it is 100% on the coaches. But really if anyone thought that Garrett was a competent coach hasn't been watching football very long.
