Jake Peavy Gets Killed By AL Teams

Big drop off here for SF from last night's ace, Baumgarten, whom the Royals had never seen. Peavy started 20 games for the Red Sox this season and won a whopping total of 1. He pitched just good enough to lose almost every game. His stuff, what's left of it, is made for the NL where the strike zone is lower and pitchers don't have to face DH's. When he's forced to get his pitches up he gets tagged. Take the Royals to even this series.

Royals bats have turned ice cold with the long layoff.

very poor at bats last night for the Royals, they look totally lost at the plate.

Yep and over the last 2 months jake has really found his groove.

Bumfukk going deep last night saved the pen too.

Jake found his groove when he got traded back to the NL where he can throw 79 mph sinkers at Yasiel Puig's ankles. AL ballpark tonight. He will revert back to his 1 outta 20 AL form.

There is actually a lot of truth to what you just said. (Except for the 79 mph sinker part) Those are really 86-90mph.

But I do think if you pitch in the NL West on a team not named the Colorado Rockies you should have an * next to your stats....

isnt it it funny that even a washed up pitcher like Tim Lincecum can throw a no hitter against the lowly San Diego Padres but he can't even make his teams post season roster? LOL but really the Padres team should be demoted down to triple A. The Padres #3 hitter Seth Smith wasn't even a starter last year for Oakland although I do like him.

One game..against arguably one of the best left-handed starters in the Major Leagues in the post season who neutralizes left handed bats KC sent 4 of their 9 up to the plate...it happens

"NL where the strike zone is lower"

Al and nl umpires merged 14 years ago. This doesn't really apply any longer.

No way I touch this game or its' total.....way too many variables here, and I would be guessing if I chose either side.

If a gun was pointed at my head I would be on the Giants....

if so good for him I like him bc he is a fellow weed smoker but if he is on the roster I am shocked he hasn't even pitched 1 inning.

Yeah some people have really thin skin around here didn't wanna offend a guy I don't know. I prefer to develop a relationship before I become offensive.

Who cares about Peavys stats with Boston this year ?

He's proven he's a clutch pitcher when it matters

    KC is toast

So you would rather back a 23 year old rookie?? the kid let up 4 runs in 5+ innings in his last post season start
Pressure is on the Royals with a rookie on the mound, I'd take a veteran and experienced SF team over the Royals tonight

Wonder what the odds are on this prop... I might have to see how juicy that number is.

if I can get +2000 I might have to bite on that.

Yeah I just blurted a smaller number out but didn't take the time to think it over. Giants at plus money game 2 then favored the next 2. You'll obv get a better price parlaying it game by game.
