You have to remember that this is the Republicans we are talking about here. Health Care Reform to the Republicans is not that big of a problem it seems like to them. They would rather see the normal people suffer while the leaders of these health insurance companies get huge bonuses and making huge profits. I agree with most of the plan that congress has put forward here. It is just that they did not include a public option but instead is going for the non profit co op plan probably here.

There is still plenty of work to be done with the House and Senate on this and it is going to take a while to get that sorted out. When this gets done I think that I will accept it and knowing that our health care problem in due time will be taking care of the people instead of the select few.

To those who claim government cant run anything...... uh the police, fire department, Department of Water & Power, Public transportation, schools, road work, sewers, etc. More things are run by the Government than just the DMV.

And what insurance company doesnt require you to choose a primary doctor whom you are always required to see first for anything?

it doesnt take an economist to figure out that the states that have the most invasive tax schemes are the ones facing "financial ruin" and the ones that don't have, aren't.
so keep blaming california's problems on the republicans and the repeal of dumb tax laws there, ace.
