    College Basketball 2014-2015 Championship Prediction

Who do you guys like as far as Futures?

I really think this might be the year Wisconsin wins it all.

Bo Ryans squad is going to be tough to beat.

i was looking at pinnacle's and uk is +322. that's insane in a one and done tournament. i wonder if Anthony Davis led team was that big of a favorite before the season.

CBB futures are throwing away your money. Impossible to tell who will come out of that tourney.

KENTUCKY - I don't buy in to the whole 2-shifts idea, but with the twins back and the giants back, and a couple special freshmen, this is going to be by FAR the most talented and biggest team in college. They have a great shot at winning. Wait until they get upset then take the futures bet on UK.

KANSAS - the loss if Embiid hurts big time, especially since they lack a true center now. But with returning big man Traylor, and Cliff Alexander who will be compared to wiggins all season, they should do alright down low vs most squads. KU guards consists of an impressive group of returners like Greene, Francamp, & Seldon Jr who are good shooters. Add in Mason and freshman phenom Kelly Oubre and THIS BACKCOURT IS DEEP.

WICHITA STATE - yes, cleanthony early leaving hurts big time, but Ron Baker, Fred VanVleet & Tekele Cotton are returning to comprise as solid a backcourt as any in the country, both offensively and defensively. Obviously a trend with all these teams I'm listing are EXCELLENT COACHES (for shockers, see Greg Marshall). One last thing... Remember the name 'Bush' Wamukota - a 7 foot African Beast.

MICHIGAN STATE - Let's continue the trend of great coaches and realize that Izzo is going to turn the likes of Alvin Ellis, Gavin Schilling and Lourawls Nairn Jr into household names in just a few months. Spartans are returning ever-improving & former MI Mr. Basketball Matt Costello down low, with Trice, Valentine & Dawson managing the floor. Do not underrate my Spartans.

Some other teams I think will look good (& I will be betting on throughout) but may not win it all this year are VCU, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, UNC, Duke, Gonzaga, Villanova, Nebraska, Arizona and Minnesota.

Look for Miller and the CATS to cut down the nets in March because we have SOMETHING TO PROVE THIS TIME

    BEAR DOWN CATS

They lost Gordon and Nick Johnson; their top two scorers; their athletic defenseman and point guard. I know McConnell can move the ball, but without good guard play you don't win the NCAA Championship, let alone make a deep March run. I just don't see who's going to score the points day in day out. Their only incoming guard is this midget 5'7" PJC can he really make a difference? Doubt it.

Now I'll pay you respect for the best backcourt in the country. Tarcjewski, Ashley, and Hollis-Jefferson plus a 7 foot frosh from Serbia. Let's just say Zona will not have to worry about the defensive side of the ball. They just need to figure out how the hell they will score points.

I could see Duke's freshman class being a story of the season. They may have a shot.

Wouldnt say it's always that way, otherwise they'd get there every year. This year they certainly got put on the right side, opposite of some of the big boys in Kentucky, UW, and Arizona.
