Has anyone ever seen sportsbook outbursts in Vegas?
It never fails, everytime I go to Vegas from Minnesota on a vacation and hang around the sportsbooks I see a guy go balistic.Once on the way to Vegas on the first Sunday of the NFL season we had mechanical delays where the flight instead of getting to Vegas two hours ahead of kickoff got there 10 minutes after kickoff.A guy that looked just like the mean guy in Dumb and Dumber absolutely flaked out threatening and cussing the flight attendants.Minnesota people are notorious for betting on Minnesota teams. They are fans that actually think they have to bet for the home team.Dumbasses! If the Vikings were -7 playing the Colts the Minnesota people would bet the Vikings -110

Then on a few occassions I saw people with rules disputes go nuts on the betting tellers where security had to come and bodily remove them. One guy was betting horses and didn't realize that the teller made a mistake on his selection and he left the window and the race was going on and he wanted a refund.

One time I swear a pack of mafia wise guys was hanging out in the Union Plaza sportsbook and a guy from the Nevada gaming board was sitting a ways behind them giving them staredowns letting it be known he was surveyling them. One of the wise guys gets up and goes charging back at the guy saying what the F%^K are you looking at.The gaming board guy????that looked just like actor Ron Silver just grinned in this guys face and didn't say a word.It was uncomfortable where I actually thought a heater would come into play.hehe!

mafia guys never look like mafia guys... if you are purposely trying to look like a mafia guy, then chances are you're probably not a mafia guy... I like the story...funny...very funny.

Back in 2001 I went to Vegas for the first time. It was right after 9/11 so security was really tight. Two guys actually tried sneaking on our flight with box cutters (no bs, it made national news) We had to wait for them to search the plane and everybody had to go through security again. Our flight got into Vegas six hours late. Once we arrived at our hotel we went to check in only to find out they gave our room away. Instead of being left out in the cold the good folks at the MGM whipped out this leather bound book filled with pictures of their top suites. We picked a suite that cost $1500 a night and we got to stay in it the entire time we were there just because they gave our regular room away. Being late has its benefits sometimes.
