    Its sad to see Derek Jeter go out like this...

    Poor guy. Yankees all but eliminated from the post season. His teammates are not showing any heart or motivation to play hard to get him 1 last chance at a ring.

    Jeter is the main reason the Yankees haven't been any good the last five years

    They should've been playing a younger more productive shortstop

    Go ahead and rip my head off, but Jeter is one of the most overrated players of all time. The guys used to be pretty good, but always overhyped. 20 seasons and he's never once had an OPS of 1.0+. And the last 5 seasons or so he's been average at best.

    The guy has the 6th most hits in the history of major league baseball. Think about that for a minute. 125 years of baseball and only 5 players have more hits than Jeter.

    they have zero pitching? were any of these guys in the starting rotation to start the season? I think they did pretty good all considering. Guys like mccarthy, pineda, green pitched much better than anyone expected

    last full yr Jeter played he had over 200 hits ur definitely a fool. If jeter had a hitter behind him hitting 300 wit power like he did 3 yrs ago he woulda hit 280 to 300 lineup protection its called . When hitter behind u is hitting 230 u see alot less fast balls batting in front of him
