I considered Schmidt and Ozzie, and bench came to mind. I actually might like Hornsby over Alomar now that I think about it... but dude cmon... no Babe Ruth? Who is your pitcher?

Pitcher is so tough, I don't know if I can pick one. Probably Koufax or Gibson. Regular season Maddux was incredible, but his post season performances were awful.

Yeah, if this is picking a pitcher for just one game, I'd probably go Koufax, then Gibson, then Nolan Ryan, and special mention to Jack Morris (dude pitched a 10 inning complete game shutout in game 7 of 1991 world series, Twins won 1-0). If its just an all time team, I think Maddux deserves serious consideration... he is Peyton Manning of MLB pitchers... but if there's a sport where I can forgive post season mediocrity its baseball. Not so in football or basketball

RHP I agree, but Koufax in his prime. I forget about Pedro when it comes to these all time lists. I forget how dominant he was

I had a dime riding that game on the Twins. The manager Tom Kelly tried to approach Morris in the dugout during the bottom of the ninth inning. Morris told him to "Get the fukk away from me. This is MY GAME and I'm going to finish it"

Baby Ruth would strike out every at bat if Randy Johnson was pitching to him. These lists make me laugh all the time.
