I Would Not Be Shocked if Jaguars Beat the Redskins This Week

Just took the +6 for now though. Also took Vikings +3 and +140 ML over Pats.

I agree, but I prefer to wait to have +6.5 and buy the hook.

As the resident Jags expert who makes most of my sportsbetting money on games involving this dumpster fire of a team...

Did you watch Jags game or just see box score/highlights? I'm guessing if you watched the game you wouldnt put money on this team lol. The TDs in the first quarter were basically flukes and/or caused by Foles holding on to the ball waay too long. Both of Hennes TD passes were poorly thrown. O-line is cobbled together and hasnt had time to gel, couldn't open up running holes at all vs a mediocre defense. When fortune and momentum stopped going Jags way, they looked like the Jags of old with like 8 drives in a row that went nowhere

I'll admit I didn't watch Skins game but it appears they at least moved the ball okay and completed passes well (RG3 was 29/37), I think it's mostly random variance that they only ended up with 6 pts considering they had more first downs and more yards than the Texans

Basically I think the scores made Jags performance look way better than it was and Redskins performance worse than it was. Jags are a significantly worse team imo. The only thing I can say is they showed some willingness to take shots down the field so if Henne accidentally aims a throw correctly and lands a few bombs to Hurns or something they have a chance. And of course random turnovers could swing the outcome. But I wouldn't bet on them to actually sustain a drive or march down the field

^^ two fumbles in the redzone will do that. Was at the game and aside from Hopkins big td, it was a snoozefest that lacked explosive plays from both teams. At least the jags showed attempts to stretch the field which will challenge the skins biggest weakness by far on an avg on a good day defense, their safeties

This game is shaping in to be like Cards v chargers.

Just a bunch of fukkin idiots running around on the field at the direction of possibly even bigger fukkin idiots.

Jags safety concussed. RB and WR dealing with injuries as well. Who knows how RGIII will play? No play for me.

You DO realize the Redskins have a worse record than the Jaguars since the beginning of last year? This is a pretty even matchup, this seems like too many points.

RGS has shown nothing to disprove that what you have seen from him is what you will continue to see. In other words, he just ain't that good.

Honestly it probably wont end up a 10 pt win, but Skins 1st half definitely. Normally with a team losing a game like the Jags did will have a hard time in the next game, especially since the Jags arnt good to begin with, coupled with the fact they are playing on the road again in front of a raucous crowd against a supposedly better team at home, only thing Jags got going for them is that this is the NFL, the parity league, Skins 1st half should be a go though.

Meh, I still think too many guys are giving the Redskins a pass because they are "perceived" to be the better team when the numbers actually suggest that these teams are fairly equally bad.

Redskins have issues on both sides of the ball, I can't really trust them to cover -6 against anybody. We shall see.

Also Gerhart not hurt TOO bad. They will limit him and his sprained ankle in practice, but that's probably a good thing come game day.

Well you guys know where I stand on RG"Me" and my beloved Redskins....no way in hell do I lay points with this team....and not just because of the cardinal sin of gambling (betting on your favorite team/ or with your heart)....there are several players on this team that are not exactly happy with the god like treatment of RG3, who by the way, has constantly regressed since his rookie year...all of the idiot homers on espn980 (redskins radio in the DC area) are blabbering about how coach Jay Gruden and RG3 had a brilliant offensive game plan because they took what the Texans were giving them!...bullshit!!...it was an ultra conservative game plan from the beginning primarily consisting of screen passes and 4 yard curl routes!...3 for 12 on 3rd downs...that should tell you something right there....hopefully he shits the bed again, and we lose to the Jags, and then the outcry for Cousins will be so loud that the midget owner (Dan Snyder) and his ass kissing sycophants (GM Bruce Allen and coach Jay Gruden) will have no choice but to play the QB who is light years ahead of "the chosen one" and gives us the best chance to win now!

As a ex-bengal season ticket holder; I can tell you chuckie jr is an idiot. Gruden would call pass plays on 1st and goal from the 1; it got picked off. Dude is lame. If you remember texans were afc choice to go to sbowl. Htn qb wasn't bad with cincy or buff until it got cold out. He also is lame on the road. What i'm trying to say is that I believe carolina should cover the 6.

That does not bother me at all, a lot of times crap teams offer the best value. I actually like when two crap teams play each other, the underdog almost always has inherent value because the favorite is not used to being expected to win and oftentimes chokes.

This is going to be one ugly game either way. The redskin offense couldnt do anything to the texan defense which is basically got a really good front seven with some talent in the secondary. The Jags added many pieces to their front seven from good teams like the seachickens. I dont know who wins this terrible game but +6 to a redskin offense which was just as inept as the Jag offense seems like a lot. +6 jags seems like the smarter bet just cause the final score could end up being 3-6 for crying out loud. UGLY GAME

The only thing worse then this game would be if they could somehow add the rams to make a three way game.

Until RG3 sits his a$$ down... Redskins will lose every game. The guy is an absolute joke. I have ZERO confidence in this guy. Cousins is a FAR MORE better QB.
