i was there as well.. i was actually at the bud bar right next to it. I will never forget that month. We were the hottest team in baseball and then it all fell apart. I was also there a few days later when he bounced it off the Bud Bar.
I went to like 13 games straight that month.. had season tickets and lived in a building two blocks away from the stadium for 2 years.

This is the most under-appreciated aspect of sports contracts.
it really is ... people would love to see a guy like that play .. a guy that plays hard all the time and has one of the smoothest swings in baseball .. put him in a lineup with protection behind him and i could only imaging the things he could do .. .
or even put him behind someone like mike trout .. (not saying he would go to LAA but still)

You get a high profile game with Marlins Stanton in the OF, Jose Fernandez on the mound against Puig and Kershaw's Dodgers, that game will get viewed.
You market Puig and Fernandez to the latin community, market baseball to the younger set.....
