    My Division Predictions.

These will be different than most of you guys, but that is why I make money and most of you guys do not.

    AFC:
North: Baltimore. They have the best Head Coach in the Division. If Flacco returns to normal, the Birds win it. They lost 4 games by 3 points or less last season.

South: Indy, by default. A nice easy schedule, plus the offense should be enough to win this rather easy division.

East: New England. Jets fans, you wonder why you loose so much money every year. You are by far, Vegas's favorite players. The Pats are getting long in the tooth, but they still have the best QB and HC in the division. It is just a question of how early in the season the Pats wrap things up.

West: San Diego. Upset specia here. Denver will be tough as nails, until Manning starts to break down around Turkey day. The chargers have a good offense and defense and love their H.C, something very new for them.

    NFC:
North: Green Bay. The pack is still the best team in a rather dysfunctional Division.

South: New Orleans. The Saint's offense is simply awsome. If the defense can give them a little help, they may have the best record in the NFC and home field advantage, critical for them.

East: Philadelphia. Again by default. The Giants are getting long in the tooth. Dallas is a mess. Washington is Washington. Enough said. This is the Soap Opera Division.

West: Seattle. They have a better schedule than the 49ers do, and there seems to be some discontent between Harbaugh, his players, and the owners of the 49ers.

Bear, thanks for proving my point about posters in here and their knowledge about wagering. You bring up some good points but your answers are wrong. Mo might be on to something.

Could not have said it better. BigdaddyQH

Big San Diego fan, and let me tell you, there is only one team that Denver fears and that is SD. The AFC wild card comes out of the AFC West again this year. If not both like last year. Best overall Div. in the NFL right now.

That being said it is easy to say that the AFC Championship game will have someone from the West ....PERIOD.

And as for the NFC East, you said it best, I wish the NFL would give up their guaranteed spot and offer another wild card spot. Do not want to see any of those teams in the playoffs. Or from a gambling perspective, maybe I do. A sure fade in the playoffs.

One of the most shocking teams this year will be the 49ers. I would go so far as to say that they do not make it to .500 ball this year. Their 1st team squad looks absolutely terrible , preseason or not, they need to get it together. And I do not see that happening.

I do think that the Hawks will be this years highest scoring squad, they will not take their foot off the gas. Carroll is coaching as if he is still at USC. They do make the Playoffs for sure, and the Championship game as well, SB , its anyones game.

    In summary,

AFC expect DEN , SD, KC to be major contenders this year, the only teams that might make a stir will be NE , Indy, maybe the Ravens. But that is it.

As for the NFC , SEA , NO, GB. No one else will make any difference.

Things to look out for this year.

Houston will have a much improved Defense. Look to take more unders with this squad. Their Ivy League QB is not going to get it done for them, so do not look for alot of offense points from them and for them to shut down the opposing team.

Sea - take more Overs. They will not let up and will score more than the league average just about every outing. Their Defense is good but not great. So they will let the opposing team score enough to edge out your over. Personally I look to take them minus the points if the lines to not get to far out there,,,,which they will, over 50% of their games this year will be DD Spreads.

SF - Fade this team every chance you get...they look terrible. PERIOD.

AFC West- rival games, even Oakland. Take the dog in every affair, each and every matchup will be close.

Boys sleep in , it will be alright, because all the games worth watching this year will ALL be played on the West Coast. So plan to stay up late.

Scrop,,,show me another Div that is better. I guarantee you they will have more combined outside div wins than any other Div.

The only losses they sustain is beating up on each other.

First, Fat boy in KC on the sidelines will have this team tuned up even more this year. Last year was not a fluct.

Of their 8 road games minus the 3 Div foes : MIA,SF,BUF,ARZ,PIT
Personally they win ALL of these. And no one wants to play in Arrowhead. Bet your azz they will be above .500 and then some.

San Diego , sure made the playoffs by way of 12 winning lottery tickets. But they should have never been in that spot, losing 3 of their first four games in the waning minute, not minutes,,,minute. And was playing behind the 8 ball the entire year. Expect McCoy to not have that repeat itself. As much the same logic as the Chiefs, although SD does not have that much of an home field advantage as does KC.

DEN - as much as everyone is saying that Manning will have an regression year minus the likes of Welker and such. I say Bah-humbug to that. Expect the General to be Business as Usual.

DA Raiders,,,well they are the Raiders. Nothing good can be said of them. But lets hope their fans can scare out a few wins for them.

Again show me a better DIV. And I will show you 2 of the 4 teams in the AFC West that will make the playoffs. Hell maybe even a repeat of last year and have 3. Pretty damn sad when 3 of 4 teams in one Div make the playoffs, just shows you how shitty the rest is.

NFC West is the best division in football sir

Seattle > Denver(no welker, decker, Moreno) UNDER 11.5 wins
SF > KC (4 new offensive linemen) UNDER 8.5 wins
    STL + AZ > SD + OAK

i think the NFC may win 7 or 8 of the next 10 super bowls because too many good coaches are in the NFC => better teams

This is a HUGE stretch my friend. They might, and thats a big might , have the edge on coaches , but certainly do not in the QB dept. Sure most of the greats are on borrowed time, Brady,Manning, and yes Rivers. I will take a franchise , hall of fame QB over your best coach of all time any day.

Ok I will give you this one.

    STL + AZ > SD + OAK

Tough one, but now that StL is Bradford-less. They are in big trouble. I would have given this one to you as well with Bradford, but now Its a toss up, (only because of how shitty Oak is)

SF > KC (4 new offensive linemen) UNDER 8.5 wins

By no means are you even close on this one. SF is absolute garbage this year. KC as you can read in my edited post will have the edge,,,penetrate, that the absolute beast of a record verus SF by years end.

Scorpion, come Oct 5th , it will all be written in sand by then.

first that is all that will be left at Levi by week 5, that "turf" "sod" or whatever that is will be long gone by then and all that will be left is a sand bed.

They travel WAY more miles than the 49ers, opponents win % last season is higher. Seattles bye week comes earlier, SF's after week 7

I've read that mallet is being shopped around. That means to me that the rookie is ready to take over that no.2 spot; and, possibly take over as starter whenever Brady decides to call it a career. I'm gonna trust the genius on this one.

Yes, he's really that good. His biggest problem is against defenses like SEA, unfortunately he faces them twice a year.

Eagles - rank with Seahawks among top teams
Patriots - improved roster and better defense
Steelers - playoff team. underrated defense, tenacious offense.
Seahawks - hard to find flaws. will take unorthodox play selection to beat them.
    Bengals - consistency and toughness.
Redskins - watch out for this team this year.
    Panthers - consistency and talent.
Saints - this team is almost never out of any game.
Lions - could be the year. More talent than Green Bay.
