Careful here guys, While i agree the Redsox are a trainwreck, De La Rosa has pitched well at home(Minus his last start). His home/ road splits are hard to figure out. I say no play on the side, but i do like the under tonight for a decent amount.

A little strange how SBR has Boston +1.5 at -110 and Angels ML at -134. Seems the +1.5 should be higher??? Or is that about right on a +1.5>ML?

Shoemaker gives up runs on the road, I like all matchups here, and I do not think we can forget about the emotional component of what happened yesterday.....the Sox blew it and looked bad and the Angels are reeling from their news about Richardson.....the Angels are going to want to be aggressive and show that they are good enough to win without him....

I think this turns into a see-saw affair, and if I had to pick a side I like the value in the Sox, BUT the Angels will still win 4 or 5 of their next 6 or 7 games and then hit the skids for a bit.

D2D, i only have this guy Shoemaker for 3 road starts? he has given up 2, 2 and 3 runs.. M aybe im missing a start but dont think so.. His ERA is 3.86 on the year, so i would say he is no worse on road then at home. De La Rosa on the other hand has been much much better at home then on the road(Minus his last hime start. Who knows maybe a rain out, weather has been shitty all day around here, rained aa bit stoped then rained again. overcast and cloudy all day.. Best of luck on your play,

D2D, found my mistake, missed the whole month of june, yes he has been hit a bit harder on the road, gave up 8 runs at KC in 1 of his starts. Usually only goes around 5/6 innings, Anahiem bullpen worries my under play more then anything..

That adds up to more than 15 runs per game n Shoe's last 6 starts on the road....the Angels love to play for this guy.

Bad weather is not as big a factor in O/U as others believe, in fact when I played I always believed that pitchers control was affected more than hitters....unless it is COLD and rainy, which it isn't. What hitter wants to hit a stinger in the cold and rain??
