The A's are not a bad pick but trends say they will be eliminated by the Tigers once again.

Nah I/O is right Josh Hamilton is a big hole in that line-up.

Has the guy even hit a HR at home yet?

I love Calhoun, Trout, and Pujols though. Those 3 can rake.

David Freese , Chris Iannetta, Howie Kendrick are good ball players but I think if they face King Felix in a 1 game playoff the Halos are DONE.

Richards suffers what looks to be like a serious leg injury. Huge blow to Angels.

In the national league, it is close between LA Dodgers and Washington. LAD better names, WSH better team.
AL has clearly two best teams: LAA and Oak. But one of them will play an elimination game. Two other good teams, but with big question marks: Detroit (may not get into playoffs) and Seattle (at best they reach elimination game).
So, if I must pick a team, I would say LAA. But would not take them at +600 or lower.

NO one talking about Washington...If these guys avoid injuries, they are in great shape. Kind of remind me of an American League club with all the hitters, love the pick up of Cabrera..They are a dark horse since they haven't had too much playoff success yet

only problem with the nationals is that they will have to start stras in the playoffs and he is not even a top 3 SP in their staff and their closer sucks dick

Yeah hard to live without a solid closer. Gotta think Stras at #4 is better than most other teams #4
If he wasnt a little wild, I'd say move him to the pen and let him throw 100 mph for a inning or two.

Like the Red Sox showed us last year, it's just about getting it done..doesnt matter who does it

    KC

Hands down the best defense in the majors, the best 'pen in the AL.

Pitching and defense wins, and KC has a corner on those markets.

They can also get timely hits. Problem is they don't have a solid 1-2-3 punch... i mean they are doing well this season but we all know they are all head cases that can implode any moment and give up big innings

Who is a head case on KC?
    Shileds? No he's not.
    Duffy is mellow, Ventura?
    Don't understand your point.

Only head case in Moose, but he's more of an oddball than a head case

Nationals have no chance in hell. They always choke when it matters most. Team has zero clutchness and heart.

KC's pitching and defense is legit.

I just dont think they can hit enough to win a playoff series.

Very true. Soriano is always blowing saves.

They are paying Strasburg too much money not to give him a start in the playoffs and he will get lit up.

Seriously. Look at the teams. Angels are by farthe best team in baseball. Garret Richards seriously isn't gonna make that big of a difference, best pitching staff rarely wins it all. Scocia another reason. Pujols. Calhoun has really been a nice lead off guy as of late.

Hanley Ramirez is a big showboat and never hustles but i like his swagger.

if he would just leg out those ground balls he hits we would pick up so many more hits.

During the off season I have a bet on the Cardinals and Tigers.
The favorites right now to win it are the Dodgers, Angels or Nationals.
