OK squares, I am here to fill you in on how to help yourself this upcoming football season.
1. Realize your info sucks. Sportsbooks have info. any stats on a computer they want. They know who the sharps are. They know what the sharps do. So when you, a square, says "oh I can't believe this line, player xxx is questionable and they can't stop the run anyway, I am loading up on the other side". Well guess what Einstein, don't you think everyone else in the world has this info?
2. Bet big on few games. Sharps say, "I have a model and I win at 54% and thats amazing. If you are winning at 60% well you are leaving value on the table." Well guess what square, you aren't sharp, and you aren't betting 2% of your bankroll. Sharps try to grind their way to small profits. You arent sharp, you dont have a model, and you drink with the boys while gambling. Bet big on games before you are drunk, drink, then hope for the best. Thats the key to long term winning.
3. Bankroll. Why the fukk are you deposing your whole bankroll before the season starts? Too many variables. Book goes under, you get drunk and bet dumb, on tilt after losing streak, etc etc. Assuming your max bet per game is over the deposit minimum at the book you play at, only deposit that. That way on a drunken dumb night, you will only lose that amount. Let's say I have a 10k bankroll. Well deposit $500 and bet 2% of 10k until you have a great feeling or get drunk. It takes 10 seconds to re-deposit part of that 10k, it takes a month to withdraw any part of it.
Good luck men
