Kendall Wright will have a big year... he's going in the middle rounds (seventh or so) and people are just taking him because he's there, it seems. But Wright is a guy you should actively target. He's entering his third year as a pro, and will be under the new passer-friendly system of coach Ken Whisenhunt. Wright has gamebreaker ability and possesses Reggie Bush-like moves in the open field. His ability to freelance, coupled with Locker's ability to extend plays with his legs, could make for some big plays this year from Wright. He had pretty good numbers last year, but if he can increase his touchdown production (which seems likely), he should offer some great value and possibly be a steal.

The typical approach to fantasy drafts is picking a rb, another rb, another wr, etc etc.

but unless I'm missing something... it should be picking the best on the board. take into account std deviation and outliers. why pick out of a wr/rb pool with 10 players of the same projected numbers when on the board you have a peyton manning, jimmy graham, or seattle seahawks which are miles ahead of the runner-up? chances are, one of those in the pool of similar projections will still be available the next round. not saying the seahawks should be drafted in the first 5 rounds, because the rb pool will evaporate quickly (supply/demand) but it's just my thought.

Yeah I always look for a mismatch then best player available....never really have a set order of when to pick certain positions

I always load up on boom/bust bench players....Figure I can always pick up serviceable fill-ins if needed so I like to hang on to a bunch of lottery tickets......the guys that win the league usually strike gold late in the draft or early in free agency

As for defenses and kickers....I generally stream them all season. Just find inexperienced or shit QBs prone to turnovers that are playing on on the road and pick up defenses against them.....Jets, Lions, and Eagles are great plays week 1

You're probably going to win the championship with that lineup. If you took Shady early first round (I'm assuming), then Julio Jones must have free-fallen to be available that late in the 2nd round (snake draft, I'm assuming). Then, Jeffery still being on the board, followed by Patterson late in the 4th, again, is a bargain. Luck is nice, and Reed has huge upside imo. Even your bench looks good, especially at running back. Hard to believe this was a 12 teamer.... it must have felt like cherry picking. GL

Yeah you're right and thanks.....got Shady 3rd overall and Julio came all the way back.....A bunch of maniacs in this league

The team I'm playing week 1 is nasty too though (We both have the most projected points)....seems like a classic case of a few stacked teams and the rest with no chance

    He's got:

    Romo
    Demaryius Thomas/R Cobb/Torrey Smith
    Jamal Charles/Frank Gore
    Julius Thomas

Charles went 5th overall and Demaryius came all the way back to him, so sick

You should definitely make the playoffs then....Vereen is a beast in PPR. Like the WRs and RBs. TEs might hurt you but one of them should pan out atleast

I took Lynch in my big money league in the 2nd round as well.....He's as solid as it gets in a perfect offense for him and only 28 years old....I feel like people think he's old or something

Jonathon grimes could be a top 15 running back after week 3-5 when Arian foster inevitably goes down.

Love him but doubt he outright takes it over completely, maybe splits carries though. I could see Jackson getting hurt...Freeman will be a steal regardless and a solid RB2 if Jackson goes down. I think Sankey and Freeman are the two best rookie RB's in general, well Hyde is up there too. Mason, Williams, Archer...busts. Hill will be solid...off-topic but my opinions that weren't asked for.

Wright has ended up on so many of my teams because he's overlooked. I don't look to take him myself but when he's sitting there in the 9th round you have to take him. He's especially great in PPR. 20th ranked receiver last year in PPR. I've actually been trying to shop him in the SBR league I'm in, stacking the trade in their favor but no takers. I just want an open spot but I'll take the 20th WR as my WR4, I suppose.

A lot of TE sleepers I like, not gonna mention the one I think ends up top 10. I need to find a spot for him.
