I'm a subscriber. I was doing some record checking. I record the plays they release every day and today, I checked their record on their website to make sure they are legit.

I uncovered some facts and emailed sportshandicappers. Read below.

I just sent the following email to them.

Hi,

Please check out your records page

The records page is missing the following plays (listed below). How do you miss two entire days (July 25 and July 26) and miss only the losses (July 27 and July 30).

You have recorded the wins on July 27 and July 30, but not the losses. How come?

I thought you guys were legit, but this is shady business. And I checked only from July 25 onwards. I haven't checked for the previous dates yet.

I didn't think you guys would cherry pick while posting your winning and losing plays. In the member subscriber section, I get 1-2 plays per day, and you seem to cherry pick while making your record up.

Missed plays

July 25
1) pirates rockies under 10.5 (win)
2) giants over 3 (loss)

July 26
1) tigers over 8.5 (loss)
2) cardinals (win)

July 27
rockies under 10.5 (loss)

July 30
mariners (loss)

Sportshandicappers.co replied saying,

"On July 26th and 27th was performing a software update. The record for the juice loss is recorded in the overall profit. As we mentioned before if there is a pitching scratch by either team the play is voided. We had 5 wins in June that where voided due to this. Thank you for the email."

And I emailed back saying,

"Thanks for your prompt response. I can understand the software update.

Regarding your point about the pitching scratch, there was no pitching scratch on July 27 and July 30.


July 27
rockies under 10.5 (loss)

Volquez and Morales pitched as noted.


July 30
mariners (loss)
Felix Hernandez and Corey Kluber pitched as noted.

The point is fellas: I checked records only from July 25 till August 1. That's a span of 1 week.

Who knows how much they are fudging their record for the entire year?

Sorry you had to go through this but its common in the service section. You should have known going in that the records they post could never be real. Shills like to post how well they are doing to drum up business.. there are a few who do well in one sport but even the best are hard pressed to be over 55% overall over 1000 + plays when you factor in odds.

yep, there are many scam artists like Sportshandicappers. that's why i filed a complaint with them and posted this thread as another form of complaint.

there are a few stand-up cappers though, Mitch. i'm aware that you probably aren't a big fan of him right now, but Gil is not a scam. he posts his good days and his crappy days. and overall, Gil is a winner.

update: i received an email from the VP (supposedly) of sportshandicappers.co

He wrote,

We have made the appropriate changes to the record pages. We do have software updates as apart of our business and the units and profits made that are displayed in the "News" ticker on the records page always reflect the correct totals for the month and year to date.

Sorry for any inconvenience and have a great day.

And I responded saying,

Hi (name withheld),

I call BS. Here's the proof.

You said, "We have made the appropriate changes to the record pages." Yet, the losing play on August 2 (only 2 days ago) is missing. The play was Angels team total over 3.5 (loss). The Angels scored only 3 runs against Tampa Bay on August 2.

Please find an excerpt (copy/paste) from your records page below.

03/08/2014 Yankees vs Red Sox over 8.5 MLB Win
03/08/2014 Nat'l ML vs Phillies MLB Win
01/08/2014 White Sox -1.5 vs Twins MLB Win

Between 03/08/2014 (2 wins) and 01/08/2014 (1 win), the loss on 02/08/2014 is missing.

You do win, but you are fudging your record to make it look like you're winning more than you actually win. This is a scam.

That is also false. The ticker said "+3 units in August." That is false (August 1 = +1 unit, August 2 = -1 unit, August 3 = +2 units).


That makes it +2 units for August. Not +3 units, as the ticker says.


This is quite scummy. People should know about this.

Page doesn't exist because they deleted it. You see, their followers started following them because of their stellar record. So, when a guy unearths proof exposing their scam and makes a legitimate complaint, they can't risk showing that post to their followers because their followers may leave.

When you go on a losing streak and call one of your own customers a crybaby because they complain, and then you tell someone you don't even know "Fukk You" on Twitter, you are a loser. Period. And I don't care if you are a so called "winner". Gilz is a big loser, whiner, and crybaby. Just my opinion. I realize he is a God here, though.

Oh I didn't know about that, Mitch & Ali. I was referring to the fact that Gil maintains accurate records and wins overall, both of which are essential for a winning capper.
