    Why do African teams suck at soccer?

    They always lose. Thought they were supposed to be quick, fast and athletic. Ain't that complicated of a sport.

    who cares about soccer when a lion can maul you on the field of play? poor continent plain and simple. the chances of being a professional athlete seem very low in those countries so most would rather become pirates, poachers, etc. or you contract aids or join bokaraham

    Most teams outside of Europe and South America is of lesser talent. Im sure if the African continent had a shitload of training facilities and the freedom like most countries they would do better. why does k13 suk at poker?

    Well, African teams do not play smart and are poorly organized for one, and two, the players are selfish if you notice, they'd rather shoot from difficult angle or from distance than pass to open teammate.
    North African teams, like Algeria, Egypt, etc., are better, they have more of a European influence to their strategy and play, but less athletic ability than their southern counterparts.

Wrong. Most Africans are nice and good natured. This fool who plays for Barcelona was on the take and did not mind embarrassing himself his country and the whole continent just for silver and gold.

    It's a corroding mentality. Until true democracy prevails and everyone in society are held accountable then African teams will never make it. Look at the Ivory Coast team there is no reason they should not make at least the quarter finals

    Africans are more interested in the fix, they make a ton betting against themselves. I have been to south africa and few times to england, france, netherlands, mexico. No where is soccer bigger then England.
