I will say this much for the World Cup soccer players....

Yes, I have called the game simple, because to me it seems simple, to you soccer fans, no offense.

Having said that, these players are big time atheletes, running for 90 minutes like that, and they take big boy hits, maybe not NFL or NHL type hits, but some of those hits they take are bruising and you know you got hit for the next two mornings after.

All in all, these guys are big time athletes, and got my respect.
    Total respect

    Nash good peoples.
I see nothing wrong with a little teasing and making fun of other sports here and there.
However, some guys are a 100% clueless. Gotta love these 240lb keyboard warriors.

People don't realize the size of the country of Brazil...they can play in the rain forest on Thursday and today the temperature was 57 at kick but the humidity was 96%...unreal what it does to you...and the majority of the Algerians were playing on empty tanks because of their religion

all they do is jog, run, walk around for 90 minutes and kick the ball wayward into the stands 9/10 times. it is a sport for the most un-athletic peeps

Much tougher than basketball and baseball.....I would say hockey is tougher and football about even

Some people are just haters, simple as that.....Not everyone has to like every sport but if you can't see that these guys are great athletes that are fighting till they literally can't anymore, you're clueless in my book

A soccer game between any of the world cup teams vs the best football or basketball or baseball or hockey players in the world will end up 21-0 for the soccer guys. I will be surprised actually if any of the other players touch the ball.

What's that got to do with anything? I wonder how a World Cup team would do vs an NFL team in American football?

They will be kicking field goals from the 50 yard line and scoring touchdowns on kickoffs because of their speed. And will be no huddle on offense because they have stamina.

Is that a fancy way of saying they would lose 450-0?

Well they better score a touchdown on kickoffs because if they get tackled they're dead. That may be motivation enough to get it done lol

    Lol

What I was trying to tell him is that soccer players can score points in football but football players can't score goals. I know they will lose but they won't get shut out.
The more TD's the NFL guys score the more opportunities to score on kickoffs for the soccer guys where they have the advantage.

The soccer guys literally never have any kind of advantage what so ever on the football field sir. It's a very stupid comparison.

So we agree on something. Soccer guys can't play football and football guys can't play soccer competitively.

    I like soccer

They can never be truly great athletes though because they don't use their hands

So they are talented specialists, like people who throw darts, armwrestle, or drive racecars

    Youre a moron.

    Lmao.

Try running, avoiding the huge defender trying to kill your legs, and still control a ball WITH your feet... then tell me soccer players arent true athletes.

Fukkin stupid to think any sport doesn't have stellar athletes.
