Hahahahaha.....Kids gets drafted by T-wolves then says "fk me"

    Zack Lavine from UCLA-
Man this was the best 5 seconds of the draft for sure.
Look how pissed this kid is.
I know you are supposed to appreciate being drafted and try and be happy but this is hilarious.
Hopefully the millions he signs for cheer his 19 year old ass up.

I like that kid game I think he's going to be a star

There's so many great guards nowadays

It seems like the big man is where the talent is lacking and the big forwards

i think he said "fukk man", not "fukk me".

can't find the article from last night but he said it's all surreal that he's in the position he is in.

and said he is extremely happy and blessed to be drafted.

He will be a bust. Couldn't even find the court at UCLA. Kid doesn't know what team ball is. He just likes to jack up bad shots.

A shame he went before his teammates Kyle Anderson and Jordan Adams.

    actually here you go...

"It was whether LaVine used an expletive when getting up from his table at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, right after NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announced the former Bruin was selected by the Wolves.
"No, man, I'm completely ecstatic," LaVine said on a conference call. "I couldn't be more happy. I'm a very emotional person, so I might've uttered something completely wrong, but I put my head down, thanked God, kissed my mom, kissed my dad, couldn't believe this was happening to me right now. I'm going into Minnesota full-fledged ready to become a Timberwolf.""

it's all about potential in the nba.

kyle anderson was the best player for the bruins last year but he does lack athleticism for the next level.

and not too sure about jordan adams.

he's good college player but i don't see him being a star in the nba.

too small and not athletic enough to make an impact.

but who knows, i think all of them went to the right teams to develop into better players.

Before the draft I heard people saying he was the best passer in the draft, he'll be a perfect fit for the Spurs. It's pretty remarkable how they get these guys drafting as low as they do every year. We'll look back in a few years and wonder how he lasted until the 30th pick.

Best value based on pick #:

    Kyle Anderson at 30
Dinwiddie at 38 (only question is how does he respond to the injury)
    Cleanthony Early at 34
    KJ McDaniels at 32

Worst value based on pick #

    Lavine at 13
Jordan Adams at 22 (I like Adams, but looking at the draft, there were a lot better SGs still available)
Josh Huestis (biggest reach of the draft, I didn't even have him on my 2014 draft radar, OKC could have picked him up as an undrafted FA most likely).

A little hyperbole I think, but you're right about Dinwiddie, the kid's a player. Now that the Pistons finally have someone running things in SVG that knows what he's doing, I think they're headed in the right direction. I'm also hearing rumors that they might be able to unload Josh Smiths terrible contract. As long as SVG is in charge, I think the Pistons have a bright future.

Yeah sounds like he was a major reach too. Heard some analysts saying they probably could have waited and gotten him in the mid 2nd round. Raps had a horrible draft, they also reached on DeAndre Daniels who isn't close to an NBA talent.

Fargo is in North Dakota dummy.

The city of Minneapolis is nothing like Fargo. Up north Minnesota? Yes, the metro area of the Twin Cities which is the 14th largest metro area in the entire Country? Nope.

    Get a clue.

Did I say Minnesotans? No I said midwesterners.

And beside that point, a significant chunk of the movie takes place in minnesota.

    Sheesh

EDIT: I'll do you an even bigger solid - go to the movie's wiki page and see how much influence Minnesota had on the Coen Brothers' production of the film.

Yes, UP NORTH Minnesota had a huge part in it. Where no one lives.

Did you know The Twin Cities metro area is the 14th largest in the entire Country?

It's amazing to me just how uneducated people are when it comes to the state of Minnesota.

THIS. People forget how god awful he was at UCLA. The fact that he got picked before these guys is laughable, even though he clearly has more potential than chubby Adams.

all nba scouts care about nowadays is how fast you can run and how high you can jump, in terms of draft position
    athleticism>>>skill

Adams won't be shit at the NBA level, but Anderson will be nice.

The ACL though... dinwiddie was a monster before the injury and solid when he came back, but that is not an injury that looks good on an nba resume

I was just trying to make a funny earlier but it seems to have flown over your simple midwestern head.

Minneapolis is very much a big part of it. You haven't seen it so no point in going into too much detail.

Fire up the blu-ray hoss and give it a watch.

It'll get a little culture in you.

I can't see SVG and Smith lasting more than 5 minutes together. Hopefully, he'll be gone by preseason and the Pistons can rid themselves of his horrific contract/attitude.
