8 Teams That Have A Real Shot At King James

Here are the list of the 8 teams that have a legit shot on getting King James.

I will start the list with the team with the worst odds to the team with the best odds.

    8) Dallas Mavericks - Dirk is too old, Monte is good but not great. That said, never count out Cuban. The problem is Cuban hates paying the luxury tax and that is pretty much what he woud have to do to get King James to Dallas.

    7) NY Knicks - It would be appealing for him to bring a championship to the biggest media market but the Big Apple does not have enough talent to lure him to the Concrete Jungle.

    6) LA Lakers - LA is always an attractive market but there is not enough talent to get LBJ. Kobe is great but his injury problems make this a long shot.

    5) Chicago Bulls - Great market and probably one offensive player away and a healthy D.Rose from being the best in the East. The problem is LBJ wants dependable guys around him and unfortunately Rose has not played in a long time.

    4) LA Clippers - This is one of two teams that could be dangerous with Bron Bron. They could have one of the most devastating starting lineups in league history with King James. I doubt they could pull of the moves to make this work.

    3) Houston Rockets - This is the other team that could put together the best starting lineup in league history. Lebron would be the oldest member on the team but this team would be the favorite to win immediatly. Plus the expiring contracts of Lin and Asik make them both movable assets to pull of this deal.

    2) Cleveland Cavs - If he comes back to his home town, it will take them at least a season or 2 to make back to the NBA Finals. They do some nice young talent but they do not have the roster to win it all but could make it out of the East.

    1) Miami Heat - Great weather and not a bad place to finish your career. The team is very old and you have to wonder where this team would finish in the West. They will need to upgrade to win it all.

He would never ever come to be a LAker he'll be following magic and Kobe ...a clipper they would be hard to stop with his assists and that roster all those people who said they wouldn't be going to clippers games would have to double back including myself....he's most likely going to the cavs at some point it's home I think cowherd said he had a 27 mil home there in Akron or around who the hell is buying that in Ohio he got his rings they have Kyrie and picks he needs to make it right with the home fans IMO.

If LeBron goes to the Bulls, they are the favorites in the East regardless of whether Rose plays a single minute or not.

Philly has better shot then half of those..

Forbes.com says is better then I can..

Salary Cap Space: With over $34 million in cap space, the Sixers may very well be in the best fiscal shape of any NBA team.
Young Nucleus: Reigning rookie of the year and 6’6 point guard, Michael Carter-Williams will happily rack up the assists with LeBron’s presence. And 6’11 big man (and projected #1 pick prior to his injury over a year ago) Nerlens Noel provides the rock behind the defense.
NBA Draft: The Sixers have the third and tenth overall picks in one of the strongest draft classes in years. Almost guaranteed to get Andrew Wiggins or Jabari Parker, either talent would mesh perfectly with LBJ. The tenth pick will add another specialist to the mix, like sharpshooter Doug McDermott or wing scorer Gary Harris.
Coaching Staff: Brett Brown’s mentor was Gregg Popovich, who not only beat the Heat in the finals this year, but also commands a ton of respect from James.
Franchise Leadership: Sixers CEO Scott Oneil was in the meetings when the Knicks tried to lure LeBron to New York three years ago, where he surely gained insight to his heart. And when forward-thinking General Manager Sam Hinkie came to Philadelphia last year, it was clear that the Sixers would embed their strategy into advanced analytics. And, while 22 of the 30 NBA teams have an analytics department, Hinkie sets his strategy apart by pointing out that the data he will be collecting is different from the current data used for player evaluation.
Philadelphia Loves Basketball: It’s been a rough few years for Sixers fans, but the city was a top 5 basketball town in terms of attendance when Iverson starred here. The Phillies are fading and the Flyers remain mediocre. That means the up-and-up Sixers could easily rival the Eagles for top of the town with LeBron.
America’s Next Big Tech Town? Philadelphia has seen major startup growth and millennials are flocking to the city to start businesses. The Comcast Innovation and Technology Center will be the third largest building in the U.S. and create thousands of jobs.
Star Power: Before being dubbed “The King,” LeBron’s favorite players (after Jordan) were Allen Iverson and Dr. J. What better ambassadors to provide a tour of the city and some cheesesteak tasting? Even Charles Barkley likes the idea and put his money where his mouth is when quoted, “If they sign LeBron James I would bet a million dollars within five years they might win the championship. I’m telling you they would be that good.”
Survivor’s Remorse: The title of a scripted TV show LeBron is producing for Starz, the story is based on two men from the streets who attain fame. Premiering this fall, the show isn’t based in LeBron’s hometown of Akron, it’s based in Philadelphia – his next town?
Facilities: The Sixers are breaking ground on a state-of-the-art training facility which is expected to be the biggest and best in the U.S upon completion in 2016.

After years of mediocrity, the Sixers are finally committed to building for the future. They built the right coaching staff, traded players, cut salaries, lost a ton of games, acquired draft picks, and pretty much cleaned house. Unlike other sports, the NBA Championship can be won with a few great players. Any team LeBron James plays for becomes an automatic contender. And over the next few years, no team – not the L.A. Lakers in the highly competitive Western Conference nor the salary-ridden New York Knicks – provides a better opportunity than the Philadelphia 76ers.

Lebron can mold the philly team however he wants it with all there cap space... And they are about to have 4 young solid players to surround him through the later stages of his career... Odds aren't great it happens, but don't be surprised

Going to Houston would be incredibly stupid. Dwight is a bitch, j lin is worse than chalmers. Spurs would still dominate them. If he wants to chase mj and kobe for rings clippers are a no brainer

Lin would not be there, nor would Asik. Starting five of LeBron, Harden, Dwight, Parsons and Beverley could be better than Miami starting five.

yeah if he wants solely to win right now its the clippers. if they could keep deandre jordan as well. they would win it all so very easily. plus guys like chris paul want a ring so bad it would be the perfect amount of talent and effort

if he wants to get near 30-31 by the time hes 1:1 to win a title every year thats risky. i bet he goes to the clippers and they win 3 titles

So, let's stop with all the "possibilities" I'm assuming the Sixers poster is just trolling, but as for your "8":

Knicks: Why would he go to this dumpster fire now, when he passed on them 4 years ago?
Lakers: No way in hell, as long as Kobe is there, if he goes to LA, it's the Clippers.
Bulls: Also 0 chance, due to how D-Rose handled everything like a hurt woman, after LeBron went to Miami.
Mavericks: Very, very unlikely. I love Dirk, but he's getting up there, plus Cuban made some really dumb comments during the whole Sterling fiasco, that are sure to steer away potential FAs.

I don't think he'll go to the Rockets either, for reasons stated above, but I wouldn't completely rule them out. I think Melo is more likely to end up there though.

So, really it's three teams; and IMO, it's probably one, because I just don't see him leaving Miami yet.

And it begins! Rockets sent Asik to Pelicans for a future first round draft pick.

JJ, you act as if you know Lebron personally. You even said a while back that he would not leave Miami under any circumstances.

You are seriously the most delusional homer I have ever come across in all my yrs of following sports. Philly doesn't have anywhere near as good of a chance of landing LeBron as one single team on that list. In fact Philly has literally a ZERO % chance @ LeBron!!

Looks like it's down to one for sure now! Didn't think be was going anywhere to begin with but now with Shabazz I think it can pretty much end speculation. Love this pick Napier is a killer and will add other dimensions badly needed on both ends of the floor at #1 spot for Heatles.
