    This is a lose lose situation. He's not going to pay you if this is truly the amount and situation.

    It's lose lose because you're aren't going to get paid. You will retaliate and even if the information is borderline true... you could damage his reputation. And then... he will lose.

    A little research and it turns out, personal gambling is actually fine in Louisiana. Looks like I'm taking this prick to court.

    Doesn't matter who he is or what he does. If someone owes u money u go right to where he works or lives and threaten him. He will be too scared of what might happen to him after he calls the cops so that won't happen. All that will happen is he will give up the money. And if he doesn't have it let him know that you will be back in one week to the minute and if he doesn't have it then the scene will be different. He'll have ur money.

    I basically would wear the wire and start saying bizarre things to you like stop threatening to blow me up or kill me.
