    Need some Atlantic City advice...

bobbyfk has helped me out quite a bit with a lot of questions, but if there are some guys here who are decently familiar with the beach/ casinos/ places to shop, i need some more help...

ive booked 3 rooms for July 4th... my girl wants to stay on the beach... i booked Tropicana at one end and Revel at the other end of the beach(basically whats decent that has rooms for that night)...i also booked Borgata in the marina district....i know its nice and dinner would probably be better and its just a short shuttle to the beach, but she will probably veto that idea and i dont want to penetrate with a shuttle after fireworks

what end of the beach will be closer to the boardwalk shops that are worth a fukk to shop at? trop or revel? i figure the whole world will be on the beach during the day, so it dont really matter where we sit our asses during the day or night for the fireworks...

ill think of something else... thanks

    trop is on the boardwalk

you can literally walk to almost anywhere there

ceasers has that mall area with a huge candy store as the beginning and more stores inside

i only stay at harrahs or the borgata but if you are looking for entertainment the trop isnt so bad ... lots of young whores there

also, you can go to a place called wet willies in the tropicana which serves frozen drinks if you are going with a lady

    have fun

For me, not being able to gamble on sports makes NJ not worth it. I'm at a fight in NJ betting offshore. Makes no sense.

yeah, we aint walking the whole damn thing, thats why i was wondering what might be on each end...

i have until the 30th to ditch 2 of the reservations... im not even sure there is really anything on the boardwalk that we care to see/do ... just catch some sun, gamble, eat and fireworks

she lives a few hours away, but has never been and the FW show is supposed to be great, so i told her we would go... i would probably rather stay 2 days/nights but im only up her way for the weekend, so other shit to do..

you can always stay at ceasers man

you have i believe ballys right there and you can always walk down the trops area if you feel like it

the tropicana has hooters, pf changs, and an italian restaurant called carmines which is pretty good

harrahs has a pretty good seafood spot along with a quick meal you can always go to a spot called bills bar and grill for hamburgers and shit

revel i believe has one of the best steakhouses in jersey

The Taj Mahal also is okay

As far as environment that forgot is the best as it's away from the ghetto

Most boardwalk properties are pure ghetto lots of homeless people on the boardwalk very very diverse as far as race except Borgata

Revel on the the verge of bankruptcy but it is beautiful and right on the beach

A little less rift raft there

Are you and your girl into swinging??

    Let me know

ballys is right in the middle of everything and there's a bikini beach bar right across from it in the boardwalk which is fun. they renovated a lot and have the Wild West bar with 24/7
happy hour... $2 drinks all damn day

Still puzzled why this place does not so better

Would sports betting rely enhance it much??

They would need multimillion dollar sports book rooms just like Vegas to make it appealing

JJ, on weekends they rape ppl on hotel rates. you cannot touch a room in the casino for less than $350 for the nighty less you are an upper tier player

    Borgata or nothing!

Excellent crowd, night club, The B bar and the restaurants + the best buffet in town. Not to mention the spa and stuff for the lady.

You can always go to the boardwalk and beach from day till evening and if you are tired from the sun or something you always have the lame ass casinos to cool off and take a break.

Of course you can reverse that by staying close to the beach and going to Borgata for dinner and drinks but it wouldn't be as much fun.

If Borgata is not an option then I would stay at Revel and nowhere else....

well, the prices for the 4th are nuts and almost everywhere is sold out except the places that i booked... the nugget sold out of their basic stuff and has like 4 different types of room left..all around 1k for that night... borgota has rooms for less than 500 ... how does that happen

trop will be around a nickel and revel around 800 ...

no doubt there will be plenty of trailer trash everywhere, no matter where on the beach we stay.. i just have to talk her into borgota and be done with it.. thanks boyz

Ocean City, MD is not bad raydog. Better beach for sure than Atlantic City if this what your girl loves. We always stay at the Hilton.

since she has never been, she wanted to be front and center on the beach for the fireworks... its no big deal really, but check in everywhere is 4pm... and that sucks ass and honestly, the last one either of us care to do is gamble, so boardwalk sight seeing and the beach will need to keep us

looking at pics from previous holidays there, its going to be nutso all up and down the coast

Maybe stay out of the major casinos and stay well small motels for like 60 and night?? Why?

Well you have more gambling money and more food money. The places are more dangerous and dingy but it might be worth it

Borgata is like it's own entity....You have everything you need there and it's easily my top choice of AC. Get the Surf and Turf at Bobby Flay...one of the best meals I ever had. The breakfast/brunch buffet really hits the spot after a night of partying as well

I think Trop is in a better location than Revel but it's definitley the youngest crowd in AC...Fine with me but maybe not older couples...Trop has a decent mall with a few decent restuarants by their casino

Also, they now have these Jamaican guys on the boardwalk doing push carts you can pay for to get from one end to the other....Not a bad choice when you're hammered...They are pretty cheap so give the guy a nice tip
