Is this the greatest throw in the history of Major League Baseball?

The Jose Guillen throw was unbelievable, Archie.

The Bo Jackson throw was basically just the crazy MLB script writers manufacturing something up. I was at that game, it actually bounced three times coming to the plate, and Harold Reynolds slipped coming around third.

I saw Dave Parker make better throws from deeper in the outfield back in the day.

Guillen's throw was great but I saw Parker throw guys out at the plate from almost as deep as Jose was.

How the hell could anyone be deeper? Both of the above candidates were standing at the wall

You got some splaining to do, LT

Guillen was to third base not home, and the top one was from down the line where the distance from track to home is the shortest. Was that good splaining?

LT's reputation is on the line here.

If he can't produce a video, I wouldn't be surprised if SBR was forced to release him.

Unfortunately there is very little video of Parker available. I did find 1979 All-Star highlights but I've seen him make much deeper throws than these.

I've been looking believe me. Couldn't find much other than the so-so ones in All-Star Game.

I DID find Joe Ferguson's throw from 1974. Ferguson was a catcher, but he was playing right field this game.

I am wasting way too much time with this. Seems every "Greatest Throws Ever" compilation I find is restricted to current or recent players. And by the way, if you get a chance, try to check out some Rich Ankiel throws. I have to move on to other things before I get fired.

Cespedes's throw has to be on up there. Falling away, over the runner, catcher not able to block the plate, spot on.

Mark Whiiten and Cory Snyder both threw out runners at home from the track in right field.

Just to put it into perspective, that throw was about 300 feet...the length of a football field

if ur going catch to home cespedes is in foul teritory left field as short as u can get in the outfield, id say 340 feet at best, guillen at least 375 feet from the marking, though guillen throwing to 3rd not home.
