wawrinka / Baghdatis today in London, tennis

Hello, has anyone informations about Wawrinka being injured or something like that ?? I'm looking at Pinnacle odd for Wawrinka winner and the odd is 1.62 !!! Quite enormous it seems to me, isn't it?? Ok i know wawrinka isn't in a great shape and recently made a very bad roland garros, however, Baghdatis is quite at the end of his career, and Wawrinka leeds 4-0 head-to-head... So would there be an injury or something like that i ignore?

baghdatis has been playing on grass for two weeks now, he's on a 6 game win streak

wawrinka played his first game on grass yesterday in a doubles match

so thats probably it, switching from clay to grass takes some getting used to and it does affect your performance

Yes you're totally right, i understand the reasons that may reduce the gap between both players..However, due to their rankings, i thought 1.62 was a little generous al the same...

    not really

switching surfaces makes the greatest difference, and it is when the fav is at their most vulnerable

im sure if you do some research, you'll find that most upsets happen during transitions from one surface to another

also, you have to remember that players have favorite surfaces, i know baghdatis is comfortable on grass, dont know about wawrinka though

dont know if wawrinka is injured, but he did finish a match yesterday

I'm not specialist of Baghdatis but it seems to me his fvourite surface is "hard", and Wawrinka has always beaten him on this surface (3/3), so Wawrinka may have a style that causes problems to Baghdatis...

dude, wawrinka is somewhat poor form on Grass, in general as well. this is Baggys surface, hes comfortable here. ranking dosnt mean crap when its best vs worst surface.....baggy can win this

How does it look on TI? If everyone there is on the dog then it becomes an automatic play on Wawrinka.

My money on Wawarinka, thinks he'll bounce back strong after an embarrassing 1st rd loss at the French Open. Can't look past the H2H record too.

I agree, I been buried with Wawrinka in the past, but I cant not back him at these odds. He's got to start bouncing back soon.

This is tricky, because the line dictates that Wawrinka is either:

    A. A great bet.

    Or:

    B. A guaranteed loser.

    I'm leaning towards B...

The thing is Baggy does not serve that well. But Wawrinka will make many ues in rallies, at least I hope

Baggy got a wildcard for Wİmbledon guys. He should be high on spirits and would not want to let people who trusted him down
