    nba finals tv ratings will kill Stanley Cup finals ratings once again

    I love the Lord Stanley finals. Don't get me wrong. The storyline s in the nba finals are just better. Duncan and pop going for 5 manu and Tony for 4. Lebron 3. Wade 4. Rematch of one of best finals in history. Etc etc.

    Not exactly going out on a limb there. And if doesn't really matter what the matchups are, NBA will always get the higher ratings. And I personally prefer watching NHL Finals myself.

    NBA will rate between 9-12 unless the series goes 6-7. WC games got a 2.1 in 2010.

    I don't know where you get ratings from but the 2010 WC Final which was played at 2:00 in the afternoon had 24.3 million viewers in the US.

    Stanley Cup Finals average 5 to 8 million viewers.

    Last year's NBA finals averaged 17.7 million viewers.

    So even in the US the WC Final has more viewers.

    NBA ratings are down compared to the past.
    Mostly catered to minorities, punk kids and white sellouts.

    Those are the tv viewers because they'll never afford tickets in person.
