Anyone think danny green will go off again this finals?

His insanely hot 3 point shooting was responsible for 2 of the wins almost single handedly.

i dont see him shooting the lights out again. More than anyone else on the floor, he played so far above his true level that he skewed last years finals and san antone look better than they are

Dallas took them to 7 games round 1

Portland's first year in the playoffs full of youngsters

OKC did not have Ibaka the first two games, and how health was he really?

4-0, 4-1, 4-2. 12 games to 3. the pacers had the best record in the east, no slouch there.

the nets? a collection of future HOFers pierce and KG, and superstars joe johnson and deron williams. pretty good team when the playoffs came around and they had a whole season together

43% three point shooter last reg season was shooting 50.5% from 3 land the first 4 games and set a record for 3 pointers in the finals.

    hmmmmmmm, yeah that was normal

The Pacers stink. All 8 West teams would have lost 1 game max to them in a playoff series.

The Nets are okay yeah but still an old team that would have also lost a playoff series to every single WC playoff team.

Don't try and go off on a tangent. I didn't even answer that part of your post because I don't care to. I have no clue what he'll shoot from 3 if you want an answer.

What I was saying was that your claim that "His insanely hot 3 point shooting was responsible for 2 of the wins almost single handedly." is crazy talk. You can't be single handedly responsible for blowout wins unless you scored 61 points or something. lol.

All 8 west teams would have beaten the pacers 4-1 in a series? Ok, u are completely clueless and I wont waste another second speaking to someone who would make such an utterly sports moronic statement

I like you Homie, but calling those guys "superstars" really makes me cringe. JJ is what he is, a pretty good isolation player, who when hot can be dangerous, but he's not even close to being a superstar. As far as DW, a few years back, I remember the discussion being who's the best point guard, him or Chris Paul. At his point, I'm not even sure he's top ten, I know he's dealt with a lot of injuries, which is the reason for his game slipping, but he's nowhere near the player he was a few seasons ago and definitely not a superstar.

I don't think he'll have a problem hitting them at home but on the road? That's a toss up honestly, he's struggled on the road in the offs aside from a 7-7 game in Dallas.

i meant to say one time superstars joe johnson and deron williams, they still show flashes. Not too long ago d will was considered a top 3 pg. Johnson was the most sought after free agent not too long ago

lol. still refusing to answer the thing i addressed you twice about because you realise how dumb your opening post was.

you see, that's the difference. i'm attacking you for facts you are stating wrong. there's no opinion involved. it's just purely dumb to state that a guy "almost single handedly" won a game when the team won by 36.

i am entitled to having an opinion that any west playoff team would not have lost more than 1 game to the pacers in a playoff series. you may not agree with it but did this team not nearly lose a series 4-2 to the 38-44 Hawks without their starting center and arguably best player?

will we ever know? no. people have laughed at my predictions a lot. i said on this site the thunder would not win a single game in miami in the 2012 finals and lose the series 4-1 and the board laughed at me saying the series was a lock to go at least 6 games. guess who was laughing and collecting cash from a +600 winner a week later.

Celtics 2008 were pushed 7 gms by hapless atlanta hawks who were 37-45 that year. All celtics did was win the ring that year. Its a matchups thing. Wash wizards this yr were a great young team this yr but pacers beat them 4-2 but lets ignore that right

Green shoots well at home, doubt it will be anything thing like last year, but he is shooting 48% from 3pt. range during the playoffs. He will have his moments in the Finals. The two X-factors for the Spurs are Kawhi and Bobo. Kawhi has grown since last year and is looking for his shot more aggressively than last year. Boris Diaw is going to be a problem. Before you start laughing at the thought of Bobo being a force, I'm sure there were a lot of Thunder players and backers laughing beforehand too. They are not laughing anymore.

    Oh never answered the question.

No way. Not gonna catch the heat offguard again. Took them 5 games but they eventually adjusted and shut him down those final 2 games. Expect more of the same.

Leave him open and he is more than capable, they finally realized last year in game 6 and 7 that he LITERALLY only shoots open 3s. He isn't a guy you dare to shoot or he will shoot >50% again. He is nearly at 50% for the playoffs as it is and that's with him disappearing on the road. Contest him and he won't ever shoot.

Btw, hes shooting 60% from 3 at home...hard to say he played "so far" above his mean last year when he was only shooting open 3s until the heat decided to contest him.

still ignoring the main point of my replies. this is getting hilarious. lol.

yes mismatches have gone 7 games. i am aware of that. i don't see how that has to do with anything but yeah you're right there.

good matchups that were "close on paper" have been sweeps or have been over in 5. you are disregarding that.

wizards completely choked in that series. they were a very average team as it turned out. not ready for the big stage yet at any rate. one of the stupidest ideads ever i have had was to take them for that series.
