    Tell me why we all shouldn't put $2,550 on the Heat ML tonight

    It really is a guessing game. Maybe the Heat are brick layers tonight. Maybe Hibbert finds a second wind. Depending on your finances that sounds like some serious coin to be putting on a game where you have no real edge. GL.

    This. Chances are you can get heat even or plus at some point live. Unless you can't bet live, almost never a reason to take heavy odds pregame in nba.

    I think Indy might keep it close tonight, but I still don't see them beating Miami on their home court. Paulz is right though, no need to lay that kind of juice, at some point you should be able to get Miami ML live at a cheaper price.

    The live line suggestion is a solid idea. Although the win limit on live lines is $500. There's also no guarantee you'll get the line you want.

    The win limit on given odds. The odds fluctuate so rapidly in live betting its very easy to get multiple bets down.

    In response to your original question I have to agree with some of the other guys. Live betting seems like a much better idea. Usually in games like this I wait for the favorite to have a tough start and then load up when it's even or fav switches to underdog. Otherwise I don't bet the game. I don't think I've laid over -250 on a straight bet in years. Seems like a lot to lay to me. But then again I'm still down in life time betting, so maybe I'm not the best at this.
