How long should you give capper before tailing them?

    is 50 games enough, 100?

You never want to wait too long and miss out but if you dive in too early it might cost you

Depends on your needs.....if you in for the super long haul....then at least 2000 picks with a z score of 2.

For quick read during a season I would say 75

Interesting question. Does the same number of games apply for both tailing and fading?

Take a few big bong hits and cap the games yourself. I seen jjgold go 7-0 before so anybody can.

    no such thing

wait for someone to go into a a bad losing streak then stat tailing

wait for a guy to go on a big win streak and then fade

    best method out there

If you are going to follow cappers, just make sure their record of posted plays are accurate. A lot of wanna be touts come and go around here using various handles.

You don't even need that much....you could follow a capper who is 50% but the avg plays are+130 which is still more than 60%@-110

Or just fade cappers. That seems the best method with the majority (including myself) around here.

I don't think there is a single person on the planet that hits 60% against -110 long term. However, if someone IS hitting 60% short term I would make sure they have AT LEAST 200 picks documented before you tail them. Btw, who are you considering tailing? Tell me their record and I'll tell if it's a good idea to tail them.

I think only way to go is with a capper who is monitored and one who shows discipline long term. Not some 30-10 month.

Also, be prepared to ride them out. If they lose, and they will, don't jump off be cause you will be skipping and that don't work.

What's his overall record and what's his average juice? I only looked at his twitter briefly but all I could find was 133-75 for his record. This is very impressive. If his average juice was -110 I'd probably tail him myself. But it looks like his average juice is around -125(maybe more) or so. Too small of a sample size and too much juice for me to tail. But that's just me. He may end up making you a lot of money. I'd be more interested if I knew what his overall record was and if I knew what his average juice was.

he said he won over 200 units last season. his juice isn't too bad from memory can't tell you what it is exactly i'll look closer the next few games he picks.
