Might be true but if you think this why did you bet OKC in San Antonio last night?

For the record, you not only said the Rockets and Clippers were too much for the Spurs, you also listed Golden State and OKC before the playoffs. I also think you took Portland for the series against he Spurs.

I think it's pretty evident now that the Spurs are the team to beat. Not a big deal to be wrong but don't act like you knew all of this beforehand because your posts show you didn't. You were right about this series.

I took Thunder first half and said I still thought Spurs would win the game. Don't just pick and choose posts.

I felt that Thunder would get off to a good start and Spurs would take over in the second half. Thunder were in great shape for most of that first half until getting blitzed in the last 5 minutes or so.

I don't think this is a very good spot to unload on like Heat game 2. If Spurs do lose game 3, then game 4 would be worth of a big play.

Not planning on unloading really. I especially like that alt spread play, I feel like if the Spurs win they win big. I may not even bother with the normal line.

How are sharps on OKC when the line has already moved 1 point in the Spurs direction?

Wouldn't be surprised if OKC is -1, PK, or +1 at game time.

Oddsmakers set the line knowing early money would come in on the Spurs. Ultimately it will probably close closer to what it should be.

I think a ML play wouldn't be bad but if they lose you can just chase them game 4. I really don't see OKC winning two in a row.

Clippers & rockets would give the spurs trouble??? Hahahaha hahahaha are you fuxking kidding me kid?? Those 2 teams blow and spurs would rape them both easily. Only teams in the west that would've actually given the spurs major trouble would've been the thunder with ibaka & warriors with bogut. Haha I can't believe you would even mention the rockets. That's freakin hilarious kid. Maybe clippers but rockets??? HahahahahahaHahahahahaha

I said I was wrong about Spurs. I also think they got a favorable matchup both last round and especially this round with Ibaka out.

I said from the getgo that Clippers and Rockets would give them a hard time. Clippers had a crucial game stolen from them last series by a bad call at the end.

If the Spurs were mainly only hitting jumpers Id lean OKC here but Spurs are getting it anyway they want, inside, outside, mid range, you name it. I can only see this spread going down.
Something else that bears some mention, to go along with this are the lineups that Brooks throws on the floor. Brooks has been trying different lineups to find what will work or find some semblance of balance. These lineups he's experimenting with won't work in the playoffs against the Spurs. These lineups have no cohesion, no experience together which leads to even more blown assignments which showed in the score last night. This is exactly why you constantly hear Coach Pop, preaching pace, push the ball up on make or miss. It forces the OKC defense to make quick decisions on who to pick up and without that experience together there were constant mismatches, mistakes on switches and assignments. You see the same thing in the OKC offense, these lineups aren't use to being on the floor together, spacing is off, unsure of assignments and KD/RW end up having to play hero ball. OKC has been trying to preach trust, but it's hard to trust when they aren't sure where they are supposed to be on the floor much less their teammates. If Brooks keeps throwing out experimental lineups, it will be another ugly blow out. I think Spurs take gm3 easily.

In 2012 spurs did not dominant like they did in these 2 games, i dont see okc with a chance. Green and leonard are different players and their bench is deep plus no harden no ibaka. Spurs win and then sweep.... KD looks to be traded to Wizards, WB looks to go to clippers or Lakers.

In 2012 I'm pretty sure the Spurs did dominate both games and won by a lot of points.

I remember listening to local media after the first two games talking about how it was just a learning experience, OKC had a great year, it would be something to build on, etc.

So really no one have hem a chance in 2012.

Now it's funny because OKC fans keep bringing up 2012 for optimism but this year is totally different.

In 2012 the Thunder had Ibaka and Harden. This year they don't and the Spurs have better role players.

Harden went nuts starting in game three of that series and was making everything he was throwing up. San Antonio didn't have an answer for that third option and most teams didn't.

Ibaka also went 11 for 11 against the Spurs in one game.

I'm a huge Thunder fan but deep down I know they aren't the better team.

Funny how quickly BigDofBA has changed his tune.

All I kept hearing pre-series was how the Thunder have dominated the Spurs and had won 10 of the previous 12 matchups. He picked them to win the series and said no chance of Spurs winning a short series but now it looks like he's giving up on his squad.

BigD say it ain't so pal.

You said the Spurs wouldn't win more than two rounds and listed like sevens teams "that were too much for them" including OKC.

You then bet the Spurs to sweep in round three but bet on OKC ML game two? LOL.

The difference between me and you is that it doesn't bother me to admit when I'm wrong to a bunch of strangers. You just bet both sides so you have all angles covered to try to make yourself look cool to a bunch of dudes.

You also said Clippers would beat OKC in a short series.

How did the Hawks over the Pacers work out?

    Get real with yourself...pal.
