    I remember reading an interview with Jerry Jones after the draft and he said, it was tempting to draft JFF especially since he was the highest rated left on their board, by a wide margin. He said one of the factors in not taking him was the amount of media and distractions it would cause the team and organization.

    Jerry craves media attention 24/7 and it's hard to fathom that he would think that Manziel would have been just too much.

    If the Cowboys had drafted Manziel, it would have triggered a string of events that would have probably caused/forced Texas to secede from the United States.
