Do The Browns See Something In QB's, Or Is It Desperation?

"Both fit the play-action rollout system that offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan has run." Hoyer, VY, and Thigpen. Of those 3 QBs its realistic to think at least one legit starter can emerge. I like it. Draft a non-QB and use the money you've saved to bring in some talent elsewhere. Plus you got another 1st rd pick for Trent Richardson. They might just be headed in a positive direction.

The Browns are similiar to the Cubs in baseball.

    They are supposed to suck.

I agree, the Browns are a QB away from being very good, but can they find one? At least they are trying.

Browns have a proven track record of picking out only the best of the best when it comes to quarterbacks for their teams

I think the list of stud qb's they've had over the last few decades speaks for itself in that regard

they seem to have a crystal ball that tells that where to find the diamond in the rough QB's that will be the next stars in the NFL

I actually think Hoyer can be a top 15 qb in the NFL.

Think it's smarter than using their 1st rounder on a QB. Build the team up, maybe one of these guys can become a viable option. Take a QB in the later rounds and go from there. Agree about Hoyer, think he can be decent. He was in his short stint anyway.

Browns NEED jonny football. Sub par line need a qb that can scramble.
