Mavs have been pesky this whole series (4-0 ATS), but yeah this line does look light after Spurs were -9.5 and -7.5 first two games at home.

Mavs have covered every game this series.

Even though this line looks too easy to take the Spurs here, I believe this is the kind of game deep into a series where the better coach shines and they win in a massive blowout.

I expect Poppabitch to exploit a few extra holes after 4 games and spurs take this one easily.

Spurs is the play here IMO.

Spurs take this one easily??? Oh yeah cause all 4 games have been EASY??? Dallas has played very well and the only concern is that Dejuan Blair got suspended this game.. But I wouldn't go around saying the spurs are going to take this game easily. Cause that is just plain ignorant

the line is low due to tony parker's ankle.

Haha. Spurs fans think Carlisle has coached circles around Pop in this series. And Pop lost his right-hand man to the Hawks and lost his other top assistant as well.

That's irrelevant, they only missed covering by one-half point so the ratings the books use are unaffected. Not that one game would sway those anyway unless it was a very extreme result.

And hasn't Parker been dealing with ankles a lot in recent years? Seems almost a non-issue unless this time it is more serious than anyone is letting on.

If Parker will fully healthy, I think this line would be at least 7.

op is right. usually a change in home court equates to about at least a 5 pt shift.

parker sprained his ankle late in the 1st half of the previous game.

and obviously, it hurt his game in the 2nd half.

he'll play tonight but definitely he won't be 100%.

How is it irrelevant when those who bet on SA lost money and would probably be wary of betting on them again, lines get shaded because of such.

Books know that Dallas is 4-0 vs spread. Line opened at -7 and dropped due to all the Dallas money coming in. Public is all over the Mavs. That is the real answer.

irrelavent in the sense that the "true" line would be unaffected before adjusting for injuries, sentiment, etc. And if that sentiment includes an adjustment for those who lost money on SA last game, then it would mean better value for the Spurs

There should be at least a 3 pt adjustment since it is the playoffs. Usually 6pts from court to court. But with the money on Dallas it has been adjusted. Quite surprised with Blair out too.

Sometimes it's better to not say anything than come up with stuff this bad.

Yes, the spurs can win without Parker or even if he's not playing at 100%, but he's probably the smartest/most expeirenced/most disciplined/ and even the best PG in the playoffs.

that caught my attention too. Albiet he isnt a starter, but why would the like be shorter with Dallas missing a player that plays quality minutes, you know?
