    Samardzija is fine early in the year, he has always been a fast starter and he has been great again in his three starts this year. Problem is Cubs offense. Still, I trust Samardzija more than I do Simon, just need the Cubs to score a few runs (which may be asking a lot ). I am on Cubbies +101.

    I can't bring myself to take cubs, I understand why Some1 would take the Cubs today. Shark is their ace, & they should be able to score against Simon, but then again, runs are hard to come by when your a cub.

    Just remember guys the pitching always changes in the 6th and the bottom of the 7th innings.

    love the line movement in this game....everybody is loaded up for nba /nhl playoffs and start of baseball....this is not the same alfredo simon that had just a flat fastball with the orioles...guy has turned into a solid/dependable pitcher for the reds. cubs are the cubs...a bunch of scrubs don't be a fish and take the bait.
