    Johnny Football highest Wonderlic score

Johnny Manziel reportedly scored a 32 on the Wonderlic test at February's NFL scouting combine, potentially boosting his stock among teams considering selecting the former Texas A&M quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner in the first round.

NFL Network's Albert Breer tweeted out the scores of some top quarterback prospects, reporting that Manziel scored a 32, while Central Florida's Blake Bortles scored a 28 and Louisville's Teddy Bridgewater scored a 20. Cornell's Jeff Mathews had the highest score among quarterbacks with a 40. Breer did not report on the scores of any other quarterbacks available in May's draft.

The Wonderlic is a 50-question test administered to all combine participants that measures cognitive ability. The time limit is 12 minutes. A score of 20 is indicative of "average" intelligence and roughly equivalent to an IQ of 100. Former Bengals punter Pat McInally, who attended Harvard, is the only prospect known to have scored a perfect 50 on the test.
According to ESPN Stats & Information, among the 31 projected 2014 starting quarterbacks who have a reported Wonderlic score, the average is 29.4. The Chiefs' Alex Smith has the highest (40). The Colts' Andrew Luck and 49ers' Colin Kaepernick share the highest score (37) of quarterbacks drafted in the past three seasons.

Manziel is ranked No. 18 overall in ESPN Scouts Inc.'s list of top 32 prospects. Both ESPN's Todd McShay and Mel Kiper have the Minnesota Vikings picking him eighth overall in their latest mock drafts.

    Quarterback Wonderlic scores...

    Johnny Manziel - 32

    Blake Bortles - 28

    Teddy Bridgwater - 20

What do these numbers mean? Could Johnny Football be skyrocketing up the charts?

Teddy Bridgewater, physically slight to begin with, weaker competition in college, struggling at pro days, now a low Wunderlic score. No thanks.

That test is all about thinking quickly.

I think a majority have a hard time simply finishing the thing.

I have not taken this particular test, but I'm guessing(by the scores I've seen), that you are allowed to skip, but not revisit questions. If you can skip and revisit, 20 is very low. If you cannot skip and revisit then a 50 is out of this world. I would love to take this test just to see what it's all about.

Yeah, I didn't even come close to finishing as I wanted to get them all right but you don't have time for that. I think I got a bit above a 20.

If you add up Kelvin Benjamin , Carlos Hyde, & Ra'Shede Hageman's scores together they would be still be 3 points less than Johnny Football's. link

footballiqscore.com. take the full test 50 questions

you dont get to see wrong answers and time goes by quick... i tried few times ranging from25 on low to 35 on high side...the 25 i was taking too long on some questions and had to just click answers for the last few just to at least have a chance to get lucky

i had (low to high but not in order) 25, 27,29, 30,32, and 35 .. the 25 was actually the last test lol

its kinda fun but frustrating at times ......for the guys who got 48-50 must be extremely quick thinkers and awesome at fractional math
    good luck

Bruce Eugene and Daryl Hackney got in the 40's and never made the NFL. Marino had a horrible score the test does not mean much

    Took it twice got a 32 and a 38

Second time around there were a handful of questions with lots of info and a long paragraph that I just guessed at to get to the others.

Was bored and took it again

I think a big part of scoring well is being used to the type of questions and being able to find the significant info in the question quickly

    You scored 47

That's better than Matt Birk. He scored a 46

A Harvard graduate, Matt Birk has been named to the Pro Bowl six times while playing for the Ravens and Vikings.
Think you can do better? Try again.

I had trouble with those too. You go from scanning for info and answering quickly to needing exact reading comprehension. It's a tough transition when you're hurrying
