    3rd in passing offense and 16th in defense. have the best wr in the world and pretty damn good 2nd option in golden tate..... yet they think another wr is what will lead them to the sb?

    People worried about Detroit's defense... they will be fine. Give Stafford more targets.... it's the only thing you can do for him. Detroit should stack 3 WR strong... you won't be able to stop this offense then. Defense just has to show up. They will be fine.

    Still wouldnt trade up for him though, if they go wr I'm ok with it but I wouldn't give up extra picks to get one. You're already in tge top ten in a deep draft, you'll find a high quality player at 10. Plus they havent had a solid corner there in....ever

    No. Way. In. Hell. Detroit didnt fire Schwartz to pick another WR. My sources tell me Det thinks theyre 1-2 hallmark Defensive playmakers away from SB. Theyre flush with talent on O; getting A Barr from UCLA would be way to go and I hear theyre leaning there.

    Watch OSU/Clemson game CLOSELY....a chunk if his catches were at line of scrimmage with DB playing 10 yds off. He had so many overinflated stats in that game bc if it. Hes a great prospect but look through the annals of "stud" WRs last 15 years;

    Ted Ginn
    Darius Haywrd-Bey
    Reggie Williams
    Justin Blackmon

    Those other wrs you listed did not ever go up and snatch the ball out of the air like Watkins. Yes he had inflated stats in that offense and those quick little option passes but his burst once he had the ball is impressive and again he goes and snatched the ball at its highest point and comparing his ball skills to any of those bums you listed is comical. Far as Blackmon If he would learn to pass a drug test he be a very good wr, but doesn't have the burst of Watkins IMO..

    What I am saying sire is that guys liks Warrick and Terrll and Charles Rogers were soooo ballyhooed coming out of school like Mr. Watkins is. They were seen as cant-miss guys but they didnt really work out that well. So they once werent bums. But i see a lot of Larry Fitzgerald in Sw except SW faster. But Det wont get him; he may be gone at 3-4 (Jax/Cle)
