Yup DeSean cares more about this than winning... I would want no part of DeSean Jackson on my squad. Why u think Philly CUT him. They freekin cut him... DJax whines about his contract every time he scores a TD or gets 100 yards in a game. Dude is selfish and not in the top 20 WRs in the league

6 yrs in the league and 3 of those in pro bowls incl 2013 season. He is absolutely a top 20 wr ptobably top 10. He's a selfish prick but just because u dont like him doesnt mean he isnt good. Curt schilling was/is a dikkhead but the fukker could pitch.

who cares if the dude is a Crip or not. Im sure a lot of NFL players are secretly in a gang or has strong ties .

He is a elite talent at WR. The redskins just got a lot better with this signing

im not sold on R.G.3 like most of you all .

But cmon now , this greatly improves their team. No matter how bad or good they are.

This improves them instantly and diversifies their offense from being so 1 dimensional .

Desean Jackson lining up across from Pierre Garcon ???

Beast mode. Garcon got mad hands and recorded 1400 yards receiving last year.

Did that without no real WR threat on his team that would draw the defense away from him.

Now with Jackson , along with the already established run game, he should be able to flourish even more

    Actually a perfect fit...

The one thing RG3 is good at is throwing deep on broken plays...

    Something DJ does very well...

Redskins, WR DeSean Jackson agree to terms on multi-year deal

The DeSean Jackson free agency tour ended up being a short one. After only one visit with one team, Jackson has decided where he's playing next season. The former Eagles receiver agreed to terms on a deal with the Redskins.
According to ESPN.com, Jackson's deal with the team is for three years.

Jackson flew into Washington on Monday and had dinner with Redskins general manager Bruce Allen. After eating, Jackson spent the rest of Monday night hanging out with DeAngelo Hall and Pierre Garcon. All of the courting worked because by Tuesday night, Jackson decided he was going to stick around.
After the deal was agreed to, Hall was one of the first Redskins to welcome Jackson to Washington.
By signing with the Redskins, Jackson will now get to face his old team twice a year. The Eagles released the 27-year-old on Friday in a move that wasn't shocking, but it was surprising, given the unexpected timing.
Philadelphia still hasn't commented on Jackson's release, so it's not completely clear yet why the Eagles dumped him. However in the hours before he was cut on Friday, NJ.com reported that the Eagles were 'concerned with his "continued association with reputed Los Angeles street gang members who have been connected to two homicides since 2010."
Of course, there's also a few other reasons Jackson could have been cut. Chip Kelly may not have liked Jackson's locker room demeanor and it's highly probable that money played a factor -- Jackson was owed over $10 million in 2014.
As recently as March 25, Jackson had spoken with Kelly and came away with the impression that he was going to be staying in Philadelphia.
Instead, Jackson will join the Redskins coming off of the best season of his six-year career. The former second-round pick caught 82 passes for 1,332 yards and nine touchdowns in 2013. All three numbers were career-highs for Jackson.
Jackson will join a receiving corps that already includes Garcon, who led the NFL last season with 113 receptions. Joining Garcon and Jackson on what should be a potent Redskins offense are quarterback Robert Griffin III and Alfred Morris, the NFL's fourth-leading rusher from 2013.
The task of making the Redskins offense work will fall on the shoulders of first-year offensive coordinator Sean McVay. McVay will also get plenty of help from new Redskins coach Jay Gruden, who served as the Bengals offensive coordinator for three years before being hired by Washington in January.

instead focusing on pounding Cowboys and Eagles in NFL's version of Seaweed division

mentioned this last night that this was a done deal in LT Profits thread....anyhow, as a diehard skin fan I can only hope and pray that DJAX stays out of trouble, doesn't run his mouth, and doesn't become a cancer with off field distractions....on the plus side, he makes our offense 100x's better if he is healthy and on the field...to piggyback off Fidel, him alongside with WR Pierre Garcon and TE Jordan Reed, and RB Alfred Morris makes our offense instant NITRO!...and we've also made several acquisitions on the defensive side of the ball which should improve in that area as well!...HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!...

PS...I'm one of the few skins fans that isn't exactly sold on RG3 either but I'll give him a mulligan for last year considering his serious knee injury that he was coming from...but this year and 100% healthy...no more fukkin' excuses!...he has weapons...plenty of them!...it's put up or shut up time!...HAIL!...
