Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
My favorite day of the year has finally arrived.
Sweating Ryu and the dodgers right now on Sunday but you can't call any of these first 3 games of the year so far the actual opening day. It's always that Monday slate that makes it official for me.
Going to post the same way as last year.
I post my best/biggest bet of the day, doesn't mean it's my only bet, but it will definitely be my biggest action going. May post 2 like we are for Monday, if we like it enough.
Year long threads are lame and a waste of time. No one posts every bet they make, most of them aren't accurate, and quite honestly I could give 2 fukks about my previous bets, it's all about your bet TODAY that matters. Ride the heater when you're hot, and try to stay calm when you're cold. MLB is a long season, you're gonna catch a couple bad runs, you just have to have self-control and wait them out.
Looking forward to seeing all the good guys from last year on here who enjoyed sweating our wagers in-game with these threads.
I am also happy as fukk because I got my guy to give me 5dimes lines for MLB this year.
Let's remember we are here to win and enjoy the action.
Let's get to it.
Opening day is full of juicy games IMO.
Going to have a good amount of action but I am heavy on one play for sure.
Wayneright and the Cards. -114
Wayneright, one of best road pitchers in MLB last year. Also, one of the best in day games. He loves the sun.
Guy's just a fukkin stud.
Cards have the best young core of players in the league.
Going to be an exciting team to watch this year with all those young arms on the mound.
I love wayneright's small price here going up against a good pitcher in Cueto.
Reds are beat up and have half their team on the DL to open the season, including the closer Chapman.
Reds should decline a little this year, and I think the Cards will compete with the Dodgers for the best record in MLB.
2nd play is the Royals +142 with Shields.
Royals are a team on the rise. Tigers will definitely decline. They made some awful moves in the offseason (Gave away Fister for nothing, re-signed Coke, signed Jabba Chamberlain- LOL). The only good thing they did was dump Fielder.
Got the Royals +700 to win that division this year. Not only because I think they can win it, but they are in a shit division with teams that all may be under .500 this year. 85 wins could get them in the playoffs in the AL central. So I see great value in that future.
Shields, one of the most underrated guys in MLB last year. Also, one of the best road pitchers in the game for 2013. He was a real bad luck pitcher with no run support. Royals finished last season on a tear, with a lights out bullpen and guys bringing some life to that team for the first time in many years.
Going against Verlander, who was 1-3 vs. the Royals last year and also had a really shaky first half of the season.
I think the Royals will be fired up and excited to get this season started and want to make a statement this opening series against the team they will have to beat to get into the playoffs.
Let's open the year with a couple winners for breakfast (Both day games).
BIG PLAY:
CARDS -114 WAYNERIGHT
SMALL PLAY:
ROYALS +142 SHIELDS
Let's get the opening day goosebumps going:
