Heritage new cashier option for Canadians

I know some posters complained of lack of options after Skrill left Canada. Any try Heritage's new option? Heritage mgt noted it works similar to InstaDebit.

I am told this is one way, deposit only option.

Basically acts like an electronic Check, so you deposit from your bank account.

No withdrawal back to C itade l , only by bank transfer, or paper check, back to your bank.

So, it's not at all like an e-wallet and not similar to Insta-deb-its e-wallet functionality.

Well I guess it's better than nothing at least it's a deposit method for Canadians hopefully it'll take it one step further and you'll be able to withdraw the same way

    Hi,

This is incorrect. It is not a one way method.

The method is connected to your bank account. The same method to deposit, you withdraw. It's paid back directly to your bank account you deposited from, or you can ask for a cheque by the same provider. I.e. some users may opt for a cheque as they want to cash it at another bank than the one they funded with.

Furthermore, the funds do not sit in a wallet as with a Skrill or Neteller account - think of it as transactions made directly with your bank acct. Heritage is also happy to clarify questions for players that contact them directly.

    That's what I said.

    This is NOT an e-wallet.

The title of this thread claims that it is. "Heritage new eWallet for Canadians"

It's not like an e-wallet, it is more comparable to bank transfers.

The withdrawals are paid back to your bank account through ******************* or via paper check. That is at your request and per your preference. Its not held in an ewallet per se.
It appears to say withdrawals are through a different source but who the hell knows what source that is with all the penetrating censorship in these forums?

Spoke with Ryan at Heritage yesterday and he stated that it is a two way process.

That's exactly what instant banking is (bank transfer payment)

E-Checks is what it is. These were very popular amongst the books before the crackdown on gambling in the state. They are pretty instant 12-24hours. Not sure what kind of window heritage is offering however.

YEAH instant banking IS bank transfer payment

    That was never the issue.

But eWallet is NOT bank transfer!

With eWallet, a 3rd party company holds the funds online with an eWallet in the form of 'electronic money'.

With a Bank transfer / Instant Transfer, the money is held in your bank account.

    This is not an eWallet.

SBR just change the thread subject to "Heritage new payment method for Canadians"

    Problem solved.

    Correct!

Don't get me wrong I'm glad there is another deposit option out there and if you get your Heritage account in Canadian Dollars that it's a good option.

Heritage won't even let me open an account, so why do I care anyway?

And the people with accounts there probably don't care about withdrawal options, I doubt if it's required often by them.

Has anyone here actually used this new service from Heritage?

Would like to hear how it went for those that deposited and then withdrew via this method.

How badly do they (Citadel) gouge on the exchange rate spread?

I suspect Citadel takes their pound of flesh on the currency conversion.

Canadians don't need heritage unless they have used all their other options, which i doubt anyone on the forum has done.

There is no benefits playing at heritage for canadians.

Actually there are times that Heritage will offer the best options for tennis... Also they allow open parlays... Im in Canada but not interested in $50 deposit and withdrawl fees...

If these bank options have no fees like every other book I use with Instadebit (why the fk dont they add instadebit as well?), than i may go back ...

Incredible, instant bank charge 6% on the currency conversion plus 1.49 for the transaction. How do you deposit in your Heritage account without paying this kind of fee?

Is it true that you can't have a Heritage account in CAD dollar?

Is the conversion that much? I haven't tried yet and probably won't after seeing that. Instant bank doesn't even offer all Canadian banks. I don't deal with the ones they offer. Having to convert to and from US dollars is not appealing at all.

I have an account with The Greek and they offer a Canadian dollar account. Offers a link directly to your bank account too in Canadian dollars via electronic check. Think I will stick with them unless Heritage can offer Canadians a CDN dollar account.

Let me check on this for our Canadian customers.

We think the solution is a good one for Canadian customers, but agree fees are always consideration. I'm sure we can find a way around this and also will create a CAD$ deposit option with Instant Bank.

Any Canadian customers wishing to wager/fund their account exclusively in CAD$ can PM me and we'll make sure to manage it accordingly.

I'll post an update once we've looked deeper into this issue.

Yup. Pinnacle. Instadebit. The Greek. Instadebit. Refunds in only a couple hours. I don't know why a Canuck would bother with anything else? I have tried Heritage in the past and they do have excellent service and lines. I like their service and their website interface is good. Too bad they don't have Instadebit though.

Starting immediately, any Canadian customers can request a refund of any currency exchange loss using the Instant Banking deposit option.

We expect to have the CAD$ deposit option enabled so the currency exchange won't be an issue.

Customers wishing to wager and fund their accounts exclusively in CAD$ through Instant Banking are welcome to PM me their account number and we will document it and manage the accounts accordingly.

We expect to have additional CAD$ deposit options soon. We currently have payout options in CAD$.
