Who's Going To Get Darrelle Revis?

Looks like he's getting cut by Wednesday, if a trade is not made. I see him as a Raider. Plenty of cap space. They need playmakers. They need to energize the Raider Nation.

Revis is still. #1 and a truly elite corner. Even coming off that injury and having a "down" year (by his standards) he's still the best in the nfl. He really came on towards the end of season anyhow. I'd put him above sherman too . He's gonna get paid big too, 12M per season I'd say

Would like to see that, I don't know the cap room for any team but the Packers need to get something on D one of these years.

Reading alot of reports that say the Packers are going to be very active in free agency this year. Supposedly the green & gold are going to have an unprecedented spending spree since. For Ted Thompson's sake they better!

Have to think Pats and Den would be in running via trade or if he gets released.

He is just a name that's all, look at nfl passing stats now there is really no such thing as a shut down qtr plus all thes rules favor WR's. I would never pay him big money.

A pass rush makes defense of backs look good

What I watching the NFL corners can't cover anyone

The Packers need some impact players on defense but not a cornerback. They just re-signed Shields and they have solid other corners like Hayward and Williams.
No Ted, please save some money for D-linemen, linebackers and a safety.

Exactly. Packers D-line has sucked since they let Jenkins go 3 years ago..

I think 49ers will take a shot at him. He may try to "win" instead of going for the big bucks.

Revis maybe be the #1 CB. But, any team sticking that much $$$ into one CB is going to flounder in the cap era.

Revis will go to a floundering team with money to burn. None of the contenders have cap room for Revis.

Going to be a massive bidding war on Revis.
    He could go anywhere.
Bucs won't be able to trade him, he will be a free agent.

Still one of the best CB's in the game if not the best even after his injury.

I dunno if you heard that on ESPN or read it somewhere, but I would say 0 chance to both those teams.
Neither of these teams are going to open the wallet big enough to land him.
Eagles have the bad taste in their mouth from all that money they dumped to Asomaghua.
And the Patriots just don't pay top dollar for anyone ever.

Tons of contending teams have lots of cap room. The cap goes up every year too now. Eagles have tons to spend, so does denver. Just cause teams are good doesn't mean they don't have money to spend. Pats have lots too, who the hell are they paying???

Reports are pats eagles and broncos interested.

Revis will have to settle for 10-12(MAX) per year....still can't. Believe he made 16M. Some qbs only get that much. Jay cutler gets 17M a season

One of the best shutdown corners in the league is more valuable than a mid-level QB.

Combination of both, read it on Roto with Adam Schefter as the source.

would make sense....pair him with haden....if this happens id look for a breakout year for mingo....look how pettine resurrected the career of jerry hughes in buffalo.....with those 3 picks in the top 36 things could really be looking up for cleveland

a good pass rush makes dbs look good...and good dbs can help a pass rush look good too...works both ways...look at mike mitchell....due was pretty much a washout in oakland....goes to carolina where they can get some heat on qbs and mitchell looked like a player
