Miami Or Indiana Will Get Upset Before The Eastern Conference Finals

Chicago, Washington, Brooklyn, and Charlotte have all improved as the season has progressed. Its just a matter of what lower seed gets a hold of one of those two teams at the right time.

    Don't forget Toronto.

I'm not sure Indiana will get upset, but I'm pretty sure they will be tested.

    Miami? Barring injury, no.

I agree, as per the current playoff picture that only toronto or NYK (if makes playoffs) has a chance to upset Heat or Indiana. but what i mean by this, possibly taking them to game six, but odds are agianst this happening, hence the future odds. in the west, if i were Spurs and OKC, I wouldnt want to meet the Grizzlies or Houston!

The current playoff picture looks like this, but likely subject to change.

Miami and Indiana showed they are paper tigers against the Western Conference. That makes them just as vulnerable as the other Eastern Conference teams in my mind. Indiana much more than Miami. They remind me of those Supersonic, and Suns teams in the 90's. Great in the regular season, and then "POOF", in the playoffs.

Heat will be fine since they have the refs. Pacers aren't winning more than a single playoff series.

I notice you conveniently ignored all the facts I threw at you when you said this same crap about last year's ECF.

But it's fine. Keep hating on the heat, it's what bulls fans do best I guess.

The Nets team who gets killed on the glass on almost a nightly basis? I would love it...but it aint happening. They would have a better shot against Miami.

Proved they are "paper tigers" to the west lol. Indy in a funk for sure but come playoff time they should get their act together. Having a bad west coast trip is one thing but losing a 7 gm series to some 38/45 win ass wipe east team is another. Possibility maybe for Indy but the Heatles won't drop to any of these teams.

Don't forget, Pacers have only one home loss against EC rivals (Detroit - just before the Heat game).
For any team to beat them before ECF, they will need to win at least one game in Indiana...

Right now, my money still on Pacers in the NBA Finals.

If they were playing 1 game playoff then it could happen. Unfortunately they play a best of 4 series so it will be hard to beat them that many times.

    Pacers look *done...

if they lose the No.1 seed.. they are REALLY done

i was watching a Pacers game (internet) it was the pacers feed..

and the announcers were really pissed that the coach Vogel (i think)
told the media (message to team):

"if we do not have the No.1 Seed overall.. we can't win the championship"

what he was trying to do was light a fire and create urgency to maintain
their top seeding, but it had the opposite effect..

the true message, or what the players extracted from it was:

"we are not good enough to win a road series vs. a top 3 team"*

    COLOSSAL mistake.

Pacers are going to the Finals. IDC how bad they are playing atm. Mia has the #1 seed and Pacers #2. And it looks like it will stay that way because MIA has more home games left than INDY. Either way I do believe MIA gets knocked off. Not that Pacers couldn't get knocked off I feel like it's their turn to win. Bobcats/Nets/TOR would be my top choices as who could beat MIA. Nets look like the most possible to do it though. Pacers offensive funk can easily be fixed with a few changes in starters. I would take Hill out as starting PG for sure. Pacers guards are their most vulnerable position.

Pacers aren't going anywhere, it only looks that way...come playoff time...The Spurs will resemble the Pacers and the Pacers will resemble the Spurs...people are jumping the gun too early..Nets can beat Miami...they rebound and every player can shoot...but Miami has the refs so u never know...

i can almost understand the nets having potential to push the heat
    but the bobcats????? the raptors????
those dudes dont have any chance of beating miami unless one of the big 3 gets hurt
and even then its a stretch ..............

nets to win the east seems likely, just by watching them ball out in the second half of this season.

Looks like Indiana peaked at the wrong time early in the year, don't see them getting their swagger back with the playoffs just three weeks away. Brooklyn has the player to individually match up against anyone.
