what is going on with Jim Harbaugh?

alot of rumors coming out about them and when theirs this much said, especially in the NFL, I highly doubt he will be coaching their for much longer. Guy has turned around the franchise and made it to 1 SB in his 3 years their and was a interception in the endzone and a fumble on a kickoff away from making another 2.So whats the deal here? Niners tried to embarrass him by saying they considered trading him to the Browns? Is he that difficult to work with? Besides maybe 3-4 places guy could coach anywhere in college he wants to. How much longer is he gonna be in SF?

ownership needs to swallow their pride and show him the money. yeah i know he hasn't won a superbowl and so not supposed to be paid like one, but do the niners want to risk its bright future by cutting ties with him.

I don't get it either. Seems like a no brainer to re-sign him. Next season is Super Bowl or bust.

I honestly believe it's Harbaugh's ego and not necessarily the team's fault. Everyone can deny the trade all they want... I think Harbaugh wants to go where he's going to get paid the most.

if he wanted out he would have taken the USC job. He clearly wants to stay in SF.

Not necessarily true. He could be holding out for michigan. If usc was such a great job they would have done better than kiffin and sark. Just because a guy does not take a job does not mean he's super happy at the one he's at.

Seems like he's worn out his welcome, acting like a complete jerkoff to everyone in the organization

Behind the scenes, veteran 49ers players are sick of his shit as well....not just the front office

If they don't win the Super Bowl next year, I bet he's gone despite the success they've had

USC is a couple of steps down, to less than half of his salary at SF...

Why do you think he would go to USC?

Michigan setting up quite well. They tank this year, or maybe lose to all three of their rivals (Have to go @ND @MSU and @OSU) it should be the end if Hoke. Not sure if he wants to go back to college though or if Michigan would suck it up and pay him.

niner fans may be sleeping but the organization is not with that team up in the emerald city that just won the super bowl and is not going anywhere. Green bay, caro, new orleans, theyll be back too.

Harbaugh is a head case and the players are getting tired of his routine. He will NOT win a Superbowl because he does not have what it takes upstairs to do so.

So much for retiring from SBR and never posting again if Denver loses the Superbowl. You really are a worthless picec of caca. You are a loner and a loser. Someone should wrap your tail around your shoulders. You are the very definition of a failure in life. Bums on the street have more pride than you do. You whore yourself to SBR. You lie onstantly and can't stand to be away from it. What a loser.

His act wears thin with players and staff. All coaches with that style do if they do not win it all. Coughlin with the NYG was almost fired several times and would have been with less patient owners. Both times NYG won Super Bowl the next year and all was better. When looking at other coaches he may be a little underpaid, 13th highest seems a little low but the truth is 7 current coaches won rings and he has not. All the people that say he just missed a title are right but you don't get paid for just missing. He has great personnel and when he wins a ring he deserves championship compensation. Flacco gets 20 million a year because he won a title, if he just missed he wouldn't get close to that much.

Harbaugh is looking at the Pete Carroll blueprint. Carroll had more control and won. Harbaugh wants that.

betting with strangers on the Internet is -ev. So how about this. 300 betpoints says that Jim harbaugh will not be the head coach of the forty niners when the 2016 nfl regular season begins.

    Bet?

You just said betting with a stranger on the internet is very -EV and then offered to make a bet that is harder to collect on then the one the other guy offered . Betting a few bucks escrowed is much easier and safer then betting betpoints. Regardless I do think the bet could go either way. There is lots of talk about people disliking Harbaugh and if a new contract is not secured he better have a big season. If he doesn't I could very well see you being right and him being gone.

Make the bet dude. I will gladly transfer 300 bet points to u if he us head coach of the niners on opening day 2016. No paperwork no exchange of personal info. The bet is here for all to see in case either of us welches.

I've known of harbaugh since the 1985 season when he was a Jr at mich playing qb. The dude has more pride than u can imagine so he'll make two more runs w the niners then give them the finger for another pro job or michigan.

Me knows what the fukk me speaks

The fact he was almost traded to Cleve even though the Browns initiated it, does not sit well w him I can assure u. He is only staying because he believes he has a super bowl team. The problem is there are strong teams in the nfl including Seattle obviously. Green bay. Carolina. New orleans. Philly should be better in year 2 under kelly. Giants and Eli should bounce back. Atlanta same thing. And don't forget potential sleepers Arizona etc

San Francisco makes two more runs but doesn't make the big gm again so harbaugh gives the Org the finger and goes elsewhere.

    Mark. It. Down.

I meant strong teams in the nfc that the niners have to go through just to get to the big game. Winning the Super bowl these days is extremely tough which is why you barely see teams get there back to back years let alone win it back to back
