Ladbrokes will limit a lot faster than William hill. That said these 2 are the safest you can get both having thousands of shops. Payments within a day via ewallet.

Really interesting what these guys have done in Australia.

They are advertising what is essentially a DC for your Ladbrokes account whereby you can withdraw cash from your betting account at an any ATM.

If you withdraw from online bookies here on a Saturday, you likely won't get the money in your bank account until the Tuesday.

I'm sure this will be popular with some people and a bit of a threat to the cash based business the TAB retail network attracts. I'm also surprised it gets through the legal red tape.

The limit arguments do not affect most gamblers so I never take that into consideration nor should anyone leave. If limits cut you move on

Quite ludicrous not to take a "bookmaker"'s behaviour into account when assessing them. It only encourages them. Far better to name and shame them for what they are.

But yes, hit the cowards for as much as you can and then find the next one to beat up.

    Not so.

It would be fairer to say that genuine bookmakers and I share mutual respect.

But when it comes to the cowards masquerading as bookmakers, we both dislike each other.

Ladbrokes are awful, they limit you automatically within less than a minute of a big deposit. Never used to be this way, defiantly a change in management or perhaps target customers. Very few books trump them on the pussy scale but bet victor make them look like Pinnacle lol!

let me know when Pinnacle starts taking bets and lays on Aussie and Pommie horses and that might just start to make a little sense .. until then .......

Not really interested in what you think the "average guy" does. The fact is that Ladbrokes are crap for any serious punters.

And I think you'd be surprised at what the "average guy" in the UK and Australia bets on.

All the Aussie based books, TABs and Betfair have horse racing as their #1 product.

It is a very large part of their market in the UK.

And for the Australian site it would be their largest. And that's only underlined by their current ad campaign for the Ladbrokes card which features pub punters betting on the horses.

what shall we call them then?
they do take big bets, in shops or at the racetrack.
online is different, so its unfair to taint their brand name based just on their online division.

They have no shops or racetrack presence here.

All they have is an online operation which they booted me out of before I'd even had an opportunity to ask for a bet!

So no, it's not "unfair" for me to brand them as cowards. No traditional bookmaker would treat customers as they do.

online probably is geared towards recreational players. that doesnt make them cowards.
They take big bets all the time, all of them corals/willhill etc - especially on horses.
£200m net income also suggests they know what they are doing - so its foolish to criticize them.
    anyway good luck.

I have no doubt they know precisely what they are doing.

Ripping off mug gamblers to the tune of £200m p.a. and avoiding any punters who have a clue.

I have every right to criticise such a company which invades my loungeroom every time I watch some sport and then refuses to do business with me.

given you are such a big shot and knowledge on all sports and horse racing.

why dont you just book yourself and do everything on betfair which DOES do all horse racing and most sports?

All i ever see you do is complain, why dont you just frame the markets yourself, and just make possibly a smaller but more sustainable long term profit?

be the book instead of trying to beat them?
