it's a great story. and really u can't go undefeated without being darn good, which they are. any team that plays defense like they do will be a tough out, especially this year where the field is wide open.

They will be a #1 seed (as long as they don't lose in MVC Tournament), but this is a Sweet 16 team at BEST. As for weakest #1, as someone alluded to above, this has all the makings of Gonzaga last year, which Shockers beat in Round of 32.

I believe they have a better Team than last year, which was not too shabby.

This same team almost won the National Championship...there's a reason their 31-0...there's also a reason that the schools around them like Kansas, Kansas St, and Missouri won't play them in a non-conference game

look what 03-04 St. Joseph with Jameer Nelson and Delonte West did, undefeated regular, lost in the A-10 finals and still got #1 seed and made it to the Elite eight


like I said earlier in the year, this Shockers team is Final Four material, they present matchup problems for opposing teams with Baker and Early. Baker can post up vs smaller guards, while Early can stretch the defense with outside shooting for a power forward.

No kidding. If you've seen them play, you know how dangerous they are and how consistent they are night in and night out.
They have proven they can beat the big boys last year in the Big Dance.

They went to final four as a #9 seed. Beating Pitt/gonzaga/La Salle/ Ohio state before losing to eventual national champs.

So they graduated no one, beat a #1, #2, #8 and #13 seed. They then lost to louisville a #1 seed and eventual champ by 4 points, the closest game louisville had in the tournaments. How tough was louisville? Their average margin of victory for the tourney was 16 points and in the elite eight they crushed #2 duke 85-63.

They are a lock for a 1 seed if they sweep the board. They may even be the 2 seed overall.
