    best home advantages in all of major team sports, pro or college:

    1) college basketball. i have told people this for 20 years. small arenas, college kids rattle easily. home teams used to rims and sight lines

    2) college football. again, college kids rattle easily on the road.

    3) nba. pro players adjust easier to road shooting sight lines and new rims

    4) nfl. good teams can win anywhere. this is why in the past 10 years so many wildcard teams have won the SB

    5) mlb. better home field advantage than hockey because ballparks have different dimensions and home pitchers and hitters know to use the advantages.

    6) nhl - a hockey rink is a hockey rink is a hockey rink.

    NBA is still a pretty good home court edge as far as winning the game
