Clippers getting Granger a good fit?

Doc pushing hard for DG and the word is the Clippers will get him over the spurs. Do you think he is a good fit in LA?

I hope my Spurs get him. I wouldn't care if he even shot 1 time a game, we need another long defender who can play behind Leonard. Green is too small to guard the bigger guards and SF's in the west.

I think that Doc is smart and if he is pushing really hard for him than he must think he will be a great fit. I personally think that he could make it a much more diverse team

how will bringing in a 35.9% shooter help them? he also doesnt rebound or defend. all he does now it throw up bricks.

at one time he was a top 15 player but seems to be ready for the retirement home at 30.

Bc he can shoot the open three and will get open looks on that team without having to shoulder much pressure.

Clips are well over the cap. Cap is under 60 million and clips are at 73 million. Clips have paid six players under a million and four more under 2 million, including key players like collison and Bullock. Clips are top five in salary but 20 teams or so are in the 62-73 million range. Only really outliers are

    Nets 101
    knicks 90
    Heat 80

    philly 49
    milw. 49

It's the first time they've ever been over the cap with Donald Sterling.

Would definitely be an upgrade over having to put in sorry Dudley, green, or turkoglu. They should think about signing Jimmer if Reddick is going to be out for awhile.

And it's done. Seems like a long ways away from when I use to hope Loy Voight or Michael Olowokandi would make a difference for the Clips.

Just got clippers +400 to win western conference. All granger has to do is catch and shoot. I think +400 is tremendous value with OKC struggling.

Thought the Clips needed another scorer at the 3/4 and here they go. They're built as well as they can be for a run now.

Granger is a perfect fit, he can play both power and small forward, he can start or come off the bench.
    Clips are wicked deep now.
One of the best trash talkers in the game too, if that means anything, which surprises some because he's brilliant in real life.
Turned down a Yale academic scholarship to play for Bradley basketball, got like 4.0's in engineering I read once.

Yeah, but Grangers numbers are in a bench role, he was seeing limited minutes.

Look at Butler's individual games this year. His numbers come from beating up on Orlando and Philly multiple times.

You are totally giving Granger no credit.
Guy had been banged up and out of shape last 2 years, and then comes back and has his team taken over by Paul George, Hibbert, Stevenson, etc. etc.
He was an afterthought after looking to be a franchise player.
    He is still young.
The potential of his impact is worth a big signing and could potentially make the Clippers ready for a big time run if healthy.

CP3, Reddick, Granger, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan with a bench of Collison, Big Baby (who needs to get his ass in shape OMG lol), Dudley, Barnes and OH YES the best 6th man in the league Crawford.

If they can get there defense going with a PG at the level of CP3 they can win anytime they take the floor...

I love your avatar I am glad DG chose the clippers, he has family here in LA and I know from the day he was traded to philly and the release was obvious doc was on the phone working the team hierarchy. Doc has Carte Blanche with the front office and the three owners that matter so this didn't surprise me .

Clippers made 2 previous bold attempts to sign players that would have flown them over the cap. One was in 2008 and one was in 2002 both times they got screwed a little bit, but that's just business I guess. The pieces are coming together for the clippers and hopefully they can get to finals this year.
