Manny Machado or Bryce Harper If you were starting a team who would you take?

    This is a tough call.

Bryce Harper gets a lot of hype but Manny Machado may turn out to be a better player.

    Of all the young guns:

    1. Trout
    2. Harper
    3. Machado

    as of now i agree.

I sure hope the Angels dont sign Trout to a long term deal before the season starts bc he might get lazy

but if they dont look out.. guy is going to have a monster year if he's still motivated by not having a long term deal

Machado hasn't been back to play since knee injury. I know they said it wasn't serious but still an added variable.

Trout easily over both, but Harper slightly ahead of Machado. Very, very close though because Machado is a once in a generation defensive player.

Trout-By far the best complete package of the three. Hits for high average and power. Speed on the bases. Not only the best of the three but possibly top three player in the league.

Harper- Best power between the three but still lacks average batting. If he can become a consistent .300 batter, then he can be spoken in the same sentence with Trout.

Machado- Best of the three defensively, but not by much. Trout and Harper are elite defensive players as well.

Bryce is right! Been watching this kid since he came up with Nats cause am living in DC. I also had pleasure of being in miami when Miguel Cabrera came up with the Marlins and he is the closest thing Ive seen to Miguel. This year he has even bulked up so the power numbers are about to get ridunculous.
