This what I have learned so far today

My Fairfield Stags still suck, suck like in epic proportiions.
Got blown out at home to Rider.
We are now 5 and 22.
    Yay Stags.

Indiana is not legit, I have been saying this all season.
if they were legit, they would not have folded up like a cheap tent against Purdue.
And I am also officially tired of Yogi, nice player yes, they just talk about him too much.

My other team, Connecticut, played in the best game of the year today.
Huskies won a thriller in overtime against Memphis, game was a good as gets.
Oh, and the best guard in the nation, Napier, went off for 34, and they were not easy bunny 34 point layups either.

Wyoming is the best 15-9 team in the nation, but watching them play is like getting waterboarded for 40 minutes.

I learned today that the Stephen F Austin Lumberjacks are 23-2.
I did not know this, that's a mighty fine record.
I also learned that one of their losses was to Texas.
    Not to shabby.

If Steve Austin gets past Sam Houston the whole world will soon know Jacob Parker.

Another thing I learned today is that Parker is a genius in the classroom too.
He's brilliant from what I read today.

I just learned that what I thought all along is correct.
Florida is the best team in the nation.

I was out at the bar earlier today...had all my degen friends bet the Memphis Uconn Over for some action .....Never even realized how good of a game that was as the Over Under was on our minds and that was close as shit.....Uconn almost buried us with the buzzer beater in OT

There was an older dude next to us freaking out because he had Memphis +7 which was money all game.....he almost got fukked bad in OT but prevailed.....He was rooting for us all too so was happy to see that hit for him

But yeah, great game....I like both teams to win a game or maybe 2 in the tourney

I need to see the brackets first, if three of the four teams I say now are going to the final four, and if those three are in the same brackets, I would be incorrect.

This is what I can say.
    Guard play and defense wins.

    Gators should win it all.
Napier and Wilbekin are the best point gurads in the nation, and Wilbekin plays for Florida.
Wibekin scores 14 a game and has better than a 2:1 assist to turnover ratio.

Sparty can be a final 4 team, but needs PG Appling back, one of the best PG's in the nation.

Syracuse (there, I said it, now I feel the needf to take a shower lol) I am Connecticut guy, us Huskie diehards have no use for Syracuse, having said that, they play great defense, I really think Orange can win it all, however, they have a history of gagging when you least expect it, or bricking a free throw when they need that point the most. I got Orange in the final four.

Still not sold on Wichita State, waiting for them to have a few brain farts and the brain farts are not coming.
I am not convinced, however, people who know college hoops more than me are convinced.

    L-Ville can be there.

This is not homer Nashy checking in, but UConn with Napier can carry the Huskies to the final four the same way cardiac Kemba did when UConn won it all.

Nova offense scary good, I forgive that Creighton loss, Nova is very legit.

'Zona, I am not convinced, but people who know more than me say they are very legit.

Kansas might have the most talent in the nation
OK, I can go on, but gun to head.

Let's put these in the final four

    Syracuse
    Villanova or Kansas
    Florida - National Champs
    Arizona

Dark horse that could get deep into the tournament that will make people say "WTF?"

    New Mexico

beating a team of freshman with a moron coach proved that to you? granted the uk kids are bad asses but their youth and thier coaches boneheadedness both showed late in that gm.. ill take a fully healthy sparty on a neutral court all day every day..

Syracuse freshman PG is the real deal....he will be a very good NBA player. I think Syracuse gets upset in the sweet 16 though.

that is true, just not sure which brackets they burning? the ones having them advancing or the ones knocking them out? i find that team to be a bit difficult to figure far as tourney aspirations, they are certainly long and very deep but im not sure they have that go to guy they can give the ball at the end of the shot clock and say "make a play", which is something i believe a team with final 4 aspirations needs..

    Fairfield sucks, but they try.
I see most of the home games, 15 bucks for a very nice ticket.

Southern Conn can ball and are legit National Champion D2 contenders.

Yeah, I'm in Fairfield, Stags beat Iona for the MAAC title, got the NCAA bid.
The BMOC was a local legend, Greg Francis, he was a god here in Fairfield, had a career game, shot lights out.
Drove Dean Smith bat shit crazy all day, haD 26 for the game.
Stags were up like 8 half way throgh the second half, lost by 8 as 27 point underdogs.
A lot of here took the +27

well something i've known all along but i think that needs a change with all the fouls calls is: they need to do something about the number of stoppages in a game.. just no flow to a lot of these games it seems. between a foul call every 25 seconds and then a tv time out every 4. its no wonder a 40 minute game often takes well over 2 hours.

    1) take away a coaches time out.
    2) maybe change the tv time outs from 16-12-8-4 to 15-10-5. probably not the best option but at least it gets rid of one unnecessary tv time out...
    3) go back to the old way of foul calls.. too many cheap fouls that kills any momentum and wastes unnecessary time
